Marvel Cinematic Universe

I still think it's pretty bad and at best it was a very poorly thought out. Even if I get them the benefit of the doubt that they are just being "meta"....yeah I'm sorry it was stupid. They already had the multiverse stuff mapped out even if they didn't have all the details ironed out. This wasn't some minor character from the X-Men universe either, it was one of the more popular characters. To have it end in a d joke was just....bad. It's one of the few big MCU blunders imo.

The "Reed Richards" thing I actually don't hold against them because that was pretty much just internet rumors and theories that people bought into and I don't think they did anything. It was anticlimactic but most of the build up was just buzz on the internet. The Quicksilver thing....they brought that all on themselves.
it was very original and at its worst was an orginal piece of fictio beyond the typical witty remarks, canned comedy, gratuitous violence, or murder show.

I actually really enjoyed wandavision. Got better as it went to me. The weakest has been falcon and winter soldier. That one was a big let down.

I think all the Marvel shows have been good to great. Better than most of the movies

F&WS was the weakest but I still enjoyed it. My understanding was it was shortened due to COVID shutting down production early.

hard to disagree. Black Widow was pretty disappointing, until i saw Hawkeye.
I wasn't sure about Natasha's sister during, and after that movie. I mean we had Natasha for over a decade, and I felt like they were trying to just shove a replacement to me. That was my feeling, cause I was shocked when she died, was not expecting that one at all. That said, watching Hawkeye has really made me like Yelena, I'm hoping now we see a lot more of her in the future.

I liked the show overall, I was referring to the Bohner "joke". That I still think was bad and a rare miscalculation on Marvel's part.

after ms marvel (which started strongly), not sure ive got stomsch for this. honestly wasnt wild about moon knight. extremely disappointed.
Out of everything, I still can't fathom how they'd tie in moon knight with anything.

I stopped watching ms marvel. I was entertained by the first episode, but the next few got progressively worse and kinda cringe honestly. I just can’t do it.

Moon knight sucked. I didn’t even finish it. That wasn’t a character I really wanted to see and they botched it.

super interested in the idea of, but chasing Egyptian gods around, then Frightmare Manor redux was just abyssmal.

Then I saw the hippo, and was out.

I thought the first 2 episodes were pretty good, but they completely shifted the tone. I read someone else directed the last 3 so maybe that's it. But the villans were pretty boring and I really hated they introduced the one guy as someone important and kill him off like 5 minutes later.

Also Marvel, everything doesn't have to be a world ending event. They should have made this whole series just her discovering her powers and then keeping it more low level, not jumping ahead to "there's a dimension about to destroy the world" stuff.

Eternals is better than Love and Thunder and it’s by a lot.

I don't like the sound of that. I mean I think Eternals is ok but Thor is one of the series that I expect more out of, even given it's uneven record.

Yeah I thought Eternals was better than the hate it gets.

Maybe I shouldn’t say “by a lot” but if you asked me which one I would watch again tonight I would probably pick Eternals.
