Marvel's Black Panther

Zack: “Man I am really excited about this movie. I loved it. I can’t wait to see discussion about it Friday night when people go to see it.”

Reality: I have to go delete 20 posts so I can try to stir the conversation towards the movie and not about race only.

So anyways, imma try and correct this:

Was anyone surprised Captain America didn’t show up? He was in Wakanda during this time and I get Bucky was frozen but I was wondering if they would address where Cap was

Good luck with that. That's like trying to get Ben and Ape not to act like degenerates in the NBA forum.

I can deal with D4H making stupid calls in football but turning a comic book movie into a racist debate is it for me . I’ll enjoy never seeing your post again

You'll still see them, everyone quotes him. He's like a puppet master. It's annoying AF but impressive at the same time.

Europe screwed up by trying to colonize every damn corner of the globe. Can't un-ring that bell. You, having been raised in a world where white supremacy was once a prominent ethos, it really skews your perception of the role of the average white man in modern times. I think in today's time an overwhelming majority of white people are sensitive to the hardships that were imposed on black people and how it has affected their beginning of life circumstances (in general) in a post-white supremacy world. These same white people, however, can have their racial sensitivity dulled and can become callous as a result of being continually accused of being part of some predominant white supremacist hierarchy. Any action or inaction can be perceived by the black population as supremacy. "Why is this white man trying to help us? Does he think we aren't good enough to help ourselves? ******* white supremacist!" Or "This white man sees our struggle and doesn't even get involved! He must not think we're worth helping! ******* white supremacist." I know it may be hard to believe, but most white people don't give two sh*ts about yours or anyone's skin color. Most white people are concerned with raising their families, going to work, and enjoying their lives. There isn't anything in it for us to oppress you or your fellow population of black people.

Right on the button 👍

And the main character spends part of the movie coming to the conclusion that remaining separate from the world was the wrong approach.

Always funny seeing people decry social media and managing to find every ridiculous opinion to present for discussion.

Anywho...

The movie was great. The crowd was great.

I may go see this at the Pinnacle tonight but I’m confused. It says there is an IMAX showing tonight at 10:25, but is IMAX always 3-D?

It doesn’t specify 3-D and I would rather not see it in 3-D personally.

I don't typically like 3D, but that's the tickets my in-laws bought and it was good that way.

However, IMAX digital is the ****, if that's still a thing
