My own post asking you where police brutality was? Now tell me, can a doctor cure someone without acknowledging an illness?
Try posting with less emojis, son, you look like your nuts haven't dropped.
Says the guy whose solution to 'police brutality' is 'let's just end it'.
You'll call me an ass, and say I'm ignorant, but decline to define exactly how I'm ignorant. Wouldn't it take an ass to know one, anyway?
If I had written the article I would have lumped all of the Abrahamic religions together... but here, in the country I live in, Christianity is the main problem so it is rightfully highlighted as such.
I've asked you a hundred times now to enunciate your solution first, since you yourself are the one that began your engagement with me with accusations of 'race baiting' and assumptions (which you so gleefully like to insult others for having) about what I have or haven't done to decrease racism, or systemic racism, or whatever meaningless catchphrase you decided to use. I have shared my opinion on how to address issues in the black community numerous times before on this board. You are the one surging into this thread.Your insults and close-mindedness. Scroll up.
Who is against racial equality anyway? Why is this such a heated topic? How do you think we end racism in this country?
The article pointed out specific examples as to why American Christian philosophies contribute to anti-intellectualism. I don’t think being spoiled and anti-intellectualism correlate. You know how blaming Christians for the ignorance of the masses looks right ? I mean without looking I would say we have as a whole less Christians and for sure less practicing Christians every year certainly in the last 15-20 years . Logically when something is causing a problem and it is removed , the quality is improved . I’m not seeing a marked improvement in intelligence across the masses . This is where we get back to paying 100k for a degree doesn’t necessarily equate to being more or less intelligent. Don’t get me wrong , it looks good on paper and statistics but for an example of what I’m talking about .. I see kids all the time with $1000 iPhones , driving k40-70k vehicles , wearing $300 and going to college that’s costing them $80-100k out in the streets yelling about oppression , fascism and capitalism being bad . I don’t think that’s a Christian or religion problem . The average annual income for the world is less than $10,000, the median per-capita household income is $2,920 .. we have some first world problems but I don’t think Christianity is one of them as a whole . I would think being spoiled and being able to have anything we want, when we want it has caused more people to be less intelligent than any religion .

I don’t agree that systemic racism or oppression occurs..... I do believe that there are laws that need to be changed..... police reform.... and also welfare reform that hurts minorities from creating a better life for themselves.

You have no authority to decide who is 'close minded' (woefully incorrect basic grammar). You have no authority to decide others are an 'ass' when they call you out. So you get to share first- beyond, again, meaningless catchphrases and slacktivist ********- and I'll be happy to discuss. I'm going to commit your oh so horrid cardinal sin of assuming you have nothing, and know nothing, because you've shown, well, nothing anywhere in this thread.
