Mass shootings in Maine

The problem is it’s hard to distinguish between the two.

Did crazy people do crazy things because they’re crazy or did they do crazy things because of the meds they’re on. Without a study of treated vs untreated mentally ill people showing violent crime rate, it would be really hard to say
Probably both

1 Patriot Act
2 Rise in civil forfeiture
3 Obama killing a US citizen in a drone strike without a trial.
4 The state of Tennessee requiring citizens involved in a car wreck to report it to the state even if they weren’t at fault.
5 The arbitrary guidelines passed by the Knoxville health department about what bars and restaurants allowed to remain open during COVID.

I can keep going.
LMAO 😂

List 5.

And no.
I have to pay the government to burn a brush pile on my farm.

I have to apply, pay a fee and get the government's permission to build a structure on my property that I already pay property tax on.

I have pay a bounty to the government on every firearm I purchase and get permission.

Up until recently, you couldn't even have a firearm on your person with out a government permission paper and a fee of course.

The ability to travel across state lines with a firearm.

Ability to sell a firearm across state lines without running it through a government authorized agent, with a fee of course.

The freedom to do business with whom I choose. I can't discriminate based on several criteria. (Not that I would but the government shouldn't dictate who one does business with.)

I can keep going if you want.

I asked before, is there a law, any law that doesn't restrict freedom?

Sounds like you were born in the wrong decade. What you want is the Wild West anything goes free for all.

And BTW I do not consider having to get a permit to do something and infringement on your freedoms. Just laughable.

Sounds like China or north Korea is where you need to be. There was sure less mass shootings back then too. 🤣

So you're in favor of requiring an individual to pass a civics test before they can vote?

Ban AR-15 and anything similar
Ok. I've asked this before, and only Loother embarrassed himself by answering.

"Similar" is not a legal term. AR-15 is a smaller-caliber semiautomatic platform, of which there are dozens of popular alternatives.

Without using the terms "assault rifle" (which the AR15 is not) or "AR15," what EXACT characteristics of a firearm should make them illegal to purchase or possess, in your opinion? I am, of course, assuming you are educated in firearms enough to answer this simple question. If not, just say so.

And yet when someone enters your home you’ll call them immediately. Also if they’re so stupid, then who should enforce all of these regulations that you love much?
Buddy my home is 1400 sq feet you think I have time to call the police if someone breaks my door down? I'll either call them because I shot and killed someone or I'll be dead. But my door is unlocked and I don't live in fear. I feel safe in my home.
