Things have to go very well, but DiMarco can obviously compete. Surprise given is high cut (though he does spin it) and the claw. The way UF has been rolling look for Chris DiMarco or Camilo Villegas to slip on a Green Jacket.
On Furyk, agreed.Furyk putts so well that he can win anywhere, but with the course stretched out he has to play nearly perfect in order to be in contention.
My darhorse is Adam Scott. I followed him at the Tour Championship last year. When he is on, he's as good as anyone.
He loves the place. Friend of mine roomed with him at Wake when they were freshmen on the team. They link up every year at Augusta about 2 weeks prior to the tourney and play a couple of rounds. He says the place suits Clarke awfully well.I have decided on a sleeper. I have a gut feeling that Darren Clarke will be competitive this week...if he can stay away from the keg.

My problem with that is the fact that Clarke is an awfully streaky player / putter.
Every time I think of Darren Clarke I think of the story he told on Jim Rome's show about going through a stretch when he was playing bad and matching up against Colin Montgomerie who at the time was one of the top golfers in the world.
Prior to the round they are eating lunch and he sees Montgomerie go up to this desert sculpture of the clubhouse and he "spooned out something equivalent to the whole west wing of the building" and proceeded to eat the entire bowl. He looked at his wife and said "I may suck balls right now, but there ain't no man alive that can eat that much custard and beat me."

but that can't compete with the egg salad sammies and the total non-corporate environment.I've only been to the tournament itself 3 times, but I've been up there for practice rounds too many times to count.
I've gotten to the point that I don't go as often because the next week I am always over at the Heritage in Hilton Head.
