Once again, you misrepresent what I've said about him. I've never given two sh-ts about his "loyalty" or "character" (to an extent) in my posts. I just care about results and staying out of trouble and all of the debates I can recall with you were about the former. Of course, you also looked like a jerk in those arguments and stomped off in a little hissy fit, putting me on ignore, so I know you probably won't read this. Regardless, I feel the need to set the record straight.

Well I don't fall into the category of thinking Bruce was a saint. I respect him because he loves Tennessee and is helping the program reach new heights.

I respect your views, even when I disagree with them. You draw your opinions from facts, which makes your posts worth reading...

So what is your stance on this whole thing. Do you want Pearl gone based on how the team has performed under his reign, or do you just genuinely dislike him on a personal level?

Indiana sure got screwed. They got stuck with that Crean fellow, I bet Hoosier fans are jealous they didn't come after great Bruce.

I never said he was a saint. When people asked me what I thought of him cheating on his wife, I said that I thought it was reprehensible.

I like him a lot as a coach, I think he brings great passion to the job and has elevated our program tremendously.

I think Hat's doom and gloom will be about as solid as when he said that our DTs would be headed to jail for a long time for putting a cop in the hospital.

I'm sure the folks in Tucson are crestfallen they got stuck with Sean Miller instead of having the honor of Bronzer Bruce lying to the 'AA on their dime.

Didn't you hear? Pearl is a noble and honest man. You know, like his pals the Pumps. I heard Larry Marshall is going to go before the 'AA on his behalf as a character witness.

Come on, Hat. We're talking about a real humanitarian here. Look at the countless hours devoted to raising funds for rare diseases and other noble causes. It's a fact that he's a great guy. Just ask his ex-wife.

I heard Jimmy Collins and Deon Thomas are coming to town to host a benefit dinner for Bruce. They're trying to raise funds to offset the financial losses Pearl has incurred for being a bumbling liar.

In all seriousness, it has been rather impressive to see all the outpouring of support from Pearl's former colleagues, former players, current players, etc....oh wait.

Cut that out. Bruce is getting screwed with negative recruiting by other coaches for no reason at all. He's done nothing to warrant such bad treatment. He's the victim in this whole deal, thank goodness he has such high character to turn himself in when it's obvious he was going to get away with lying to the NCAA 100%. That's a noble and honest guy for you.

You mean the guy that pretty much every coach in the Big East came out at their conference tournament saying they hoped he would sign his extension at UCONN and stay for years to come? How many guys have come out saying they hope Bruce's 'AA troubles don't get him run.

I was familiar with Pearl's act long before he got to Knoxville. He's been a phony for as long as he's been in coaching.
