Maymon Should be 100 percent by July

Maymon just missed an entire season. If he gets injured again, it better be in an NCAA game.

Very true! Thanks fellas, I will be drinkin out of a half full glass the rest of the day!

"Come on Jerronne you can do it!!!" Otherwise "Oh no we suck again!!!" lol Nah, just a little Waterboy for ya.:loco:

The words "still limited" to me means that he's still has issues. I keep thinking that his injury is 100% healed and we were looking at a Maymon that was not in game shape. "Still limited" could mean some pain or swelling from time to time. I like hearing that his ability is at the level that we remember Maymon according to Quinn, but the "still limited" could mean at the same level but at decreased playing time to deal with the pain or swelling.

I listened to Martin's teleconference from this morning and he said Maymon is participating in open gym and working out in the morning. He added that Maymon's team won today and Martin said he competed at a high level.

No time frame was given for his return but Martin said Maymon looks like the same guy as before the injury. He is still limited in five-on-five, but he's participating in all of the individual workouts/drills just like the rest of the players.

I take the words still limited as "We aren't going to **** this up again, so we are being extra, extra careful."

They are very cautious with these guys and the RTL.

Derek Reese isn't playing at all because of last years injuries, and also he will be playing for Puerto Rico again.

Quinton Chievous isn't playing in the RTL because of an old injury apparently, but he's a full participant in workouts from what I've gathered.

With Maymon I just think its likely an extra precaution. I will really start to worry if September rolls around and team practices start and he's still limited...that's when I'll really worry.

On Reese, FIBA starts in 3 days. Couldn't have played RTl if he wanted to.
