I posted the posts I'm reverse order. He started with that and then went on to say she was a side piece and it was her apt. Claimed to have connections. Showing I was right in that he was FOS.

Yeah he never had connections. He tried to post some connection crap in other threads and it did not go well.

The dude gave his police report holding a bottle of vodka?!!He went in the wrong apartment because he was too drunk during the day! I’m not going to pretend Ive never tied one on during the day, but I never was hammered enough not to know what place I went into. Maybe at night , but not the day time. How the hell this got this far is an embarrassment to KPD.

Yah, I got no problem with people who said something along the lines of, "if this is true, then _____." Because those people were keeping an open mind, waiting to see what the truth is.

The ones I disdain are those who assumed McCollough was a thug, based on very sketchy first information. And there were plenty of those, sadly.

He didn't just go into the wrong apartment. He went into the wrong building. He left the apartment building he was in, got something from his car and went back into the wrong building. That's how drunk he apparently was.

One more example of how life isn’t fair. JM robbed of his opportunity to play in the most exciting football game in Neyland in forever because of shoddy police / DA work. He should have never been charged until all statements were gathered and the toothless one should have been charged with public drunkenness.

There were a few media type people saying that they were shocked by the initial reports. They went on to say that it would be out of character for JM (paraphrasing). People that are around the players recognize character and JM was considered to be a high character guy. It's a shame that people that don't know those involved would make accusations like that.

How the heck did that end up in politics thread? Went back and checked all my input in that thread and feel pretty good I can survive scrutiny. My biggest take was as follows?

The fact that JM was not immediately ejected from the program, indicates to me that his guilt or innocence is still in question based on the input the program has from hearing BOTH sides of the encounter and not just from the admitted chemically impaired guy. Probably still trying to validate...

Whew!

I just mean he’s missed a huge game already in his senior year and may end up missing 2 more big ones and it still ultimately be dropped. On one hand you can say yeah it was smart he or WB or his gf didn’t talk to cops on scene, but on the other hand it could’ve cost him half of his senior season. Sucks all around.

Never speak to police without a lawyer in cases where you are even remotely suspected of a crime. Freedom is more important than playing in games.

I get where you’re coming from but you also have multiple witnesses on your side (assuming everything released by the attorney today is 100% true and not biased), an unreliable accuser and the extreme circumstance of some guy trespassing into your apartment
