Before this season I assumed he could play against oregon b/c of thier tempo, but he is now down to a slimming 350 (Not positive but I think thats it) and in great shape. I think he could be the key to keeping them out of the middle which would make it alot easier on our D to get some stops.
If we controll the LOS and make them run outside all day and throw, then we have a chance.
:On a side note Im a betting man and even though I choose to never bet for or against my vols. I see several good speards this week. The 2 Im thinking of putting big money on are Kensucky vs UL Im think UL at -13 all day. And Miami(OH) at Ohio -7. Kentucky been Miami 41-7 nough said.
my prediction a good game but a loss 31-21 oregon
It's threads like these that reminds me why people should view the volnation website with caution. It's great for getting "breaking news information" and some facts before they hit TOS, but not so good for discussing solid philosophical football intellect. What on earth have you seen out of McCullers thus far that has given you any reason to believe that he will give Oregon problems??? Dude, I'll give you McCullers is a beast and NFL bound, but he won't make it past the 1st Qrt against Oregon. I have been watching him pretty closely the last couple of games and, he gets winded easily and takes plays off. He is a 2-down DT which will kill us against Oregon. Oregon's offense won't let us substitute. It is and has been a fundamental part of their offensive philosophy. Don't expect to see McCullers on the field much against Oregon. We will have our smaller, quicker DTs & DEs against Oregon. Their line averages about 300 lbs as compared to about 320-330 lbs for the rest of the big SEC teams. We need speed and endurance for this game.
