Media Wars

Liz will lose bigly in November. For now, though, she is wallowing in a tub full of guts of Fascist left applause.
That is what makes her involvement with the January 6 Committee such a selfless act. She gains nothing from doing this. I wish that a Democrat had shown this type of courage during Bill Clinton's presidency. We need more of this.

What the Republicans did to Clinton was wrong. Liz is a hack .

I doubt she survives the Aug 16th primary to make it to November
She will never hold public office again. She is without a party. Her voting record is standard issue GOP, so she can't switch to the Democratic side, and even if she tried, a Democrat can't be elected in her state.

^^^^ This is what is wrong with our government. ^^^^

.We need more elected officials with the courage to take unpopular positions against their party leadership.... but when we get one, we call them dumb names, and run them out of office. It's the perfect environment for a corrupt president, from both sides of the aisle.

No, talking points and governing by poles is what is wrong with our government.

CNN’s ‘Reliable Sources’ with Brian Stelter draws Smallest Audience since 2019

CNN’s "Reliable Sources" with left-wing host Brian Stelter had its lowest-rated episode since September 2019 on Sunday when only 580,000 viewers tuned into the struggling program.

"Reliable Sources" also struggled in the advertiser-coveted demographic of adults age 25-54, averaging only 73,000 viewers from the critical category. Stelter’s program shed 13% of the total audience who tuned into the show that precedes it, "Fareed Zakaria GPS," and lost 25% of Zakaria’s viewers among the demo. It was Stelter’s smallest audience since Sept. 15, 2019.

It is being purposely misleading to contrast the ratings of the first two hearings, and describe the ratings for the 2nd hearing as having "cratered" without first acknowledging that it isn't an equal apples-to-apples comparison. The first hearing was broadcast in prime time on the east coast, while the 2nd hearing aired in the daytime. The source you have chosen for its obvious slant, has obscured that fact within the article. Only a right-wing media outlet with their own political agenda, would frame it in such a way. It is beyond unprofessional and ridiculous.

A 50% drop in anything is huge, regardless of the circumstances. I'm sorry your feelings were hurt. Maybe the next episode of the miniseries will pull in better ratings than the one cited in the article you are grumbling about.

No, it's not huge when you are talking about the difference between a Thursday night prime time slot vs a Monday mid-afternoon slot. The headline is framed in such a way, as to give the reader the impression that an equal comparison is being made ... It's not. This is common sense. I'm not surprised to see that you have none.

What date and time does James Goldston have the next episode airing?

I knew that you would never elaborate on this. She isn't gaining anything from her involvement with the 1/6 committee. To the contrary, she is sacrificing her political career. This was a dumb thing to say.

Dumb would be to expect that someone doesn't have anything else to do but debate politics. Trump is temporary. Liz wants to cozy up to the machine that a few here refer to a rinos.
She WILL make a presidential run in 2024 and have the support of the machine and daddy and his pals will be involved.

She is a martyr to you because you are a partisan.

That's crazy.

No it wasn't. He lied under oath about sexual harassment
Yes, it was. Why do y'all have such one sided memories. The republicans investigated him looking for a crime and finally got him because he lied under oath about cheating on his wife. You don't investigate people looking for a crime. It is crap now and it was then as well.

‘Irresponsible’: Megyn Kelly Rips Fox News Over Segment Promoting Child’s Gender Transition

Journalist Megyn Kelly blasted her former employer Fox News this week for running a segment that promoted the gender transition of a young child.

The segment, which ran on Fox News on Friday, features a child named Ryland Whittington who was socially transitioned as a boy at just age five by her parents. Reporter Bryan Llenas heaped praise on Ryland for having the “extraordinary courage” to share the story, “particularly at a time when trans gender issues have been politicized.”

“It is irresponsible to put it on the air like this as a celebration, without flagging for the parents out there who are going through this the significant downsides of jumping onto this without making sure you’re in that very, very small percentage of cases where this might — this gender dysphoria — might actually be a thing,” the journalist said, according to a transcript produced by Media Matters.

New CNN chief discourages staff from calling Trump 2020 claims 'the big lie': Report

CNN's new president discouraged staffers from calling former President Donald Trump's claims that the 2020 election was stolen "the big lie," according to a new report.

Chris Licht, who is a little more than a month into his tenure as leader of CNN, made his preference known during a conference call on Tuesday, Mediaite reported Wednesday.

The report stressed it was not a mandate. As an alternative, Licht encouraged producers to use "Trump's election lie" or "election lies" in graphics and banners.

Zakaria is probably worse than Stelter.
