Conservative columnist Jason Whitlock called Joy Reid a 'phony' and a 'sell out' who supports whatever 'the left tells her to be down with,' whether she believes it or not, following the MSNBC host's social media spat with Nicki Minaj.

Whitlock, a conservative sports and social commentator, doubled down on the hot take, claiming Reid would spit on her own mother if fellow MSNBC host Rachel Maddow told her to, after Reid was called out by Nicki Minaj over an anti-vax tweet.

'If Rachel Maddow … said you got to go spit on your mama to prove you’re down with us, Joy Reid would go spit on her mama.'

Reid is a plantation fake and the type that hurts the black community with her twisted self serving rhetoric.

CNN Stays Silent on Chris Cuomo after Shelley Ross’ sexual harassment allegations

CNN is so far mum on allegations that its primetime star Chris Cuomo sexually harassed his former ABC boss at a work party 16 years ago.

Shelley Ross, a former ABC executive producer, used a New York Times op-ed on Friday to reveal that Cuomo grabbed her butt in front of her husband and co-workers at a party on the Upper West Side in June 2005.

CNN has not yet responded to The Post’s request for comment.

Staff at MSNBC are Panicking over Network’s Direction under Rashida Jones

MSNBC staffers are panicking over the direction of the left-leaning news network under newly minted President Rashida Jones, fearing that she’s gearing up for a costly and potentially disastrous battle with CNN, The Post has learned.

Staffers say recent meetings with Jones and her boss, NBC Universal news chief Cesar Conde, have focused on hard news — with the execs boasting of ratings wins over CNN on breaking stories, such as this summer’s congressional hearings on the Jan. 6 attack on the US Capitol.

That makes some employees nervous that MSNBC isn’t adequately focused on shoring up its primetime lineup of opinion-focused shows that draw in the most loyal viewers. The issue burst into the open last month when news leaked that Rachel Maddow, the network’s star, had been negotiating a new contract and had threatened to leave.

“Rashida’s love is in hard news,” an insider said, pointing to the exec’s past roles guiding MSNBC’s daytime news coverage and NBC News’ coverage. “She doesn’t really get what primetime does.”
