Rest easy everyone, the RPI will take care of everything.

Colorado is sure going to enjoy their 1-2 seed in the dance this year; I mean, their RPI is 4th, afterall.

Puh-lease.

Yeah, your RPI will get worse. Your schedule is one of the worst things I've ever seen. Good thing you're dropping us and got that awesome invite to the Big East. Anything over 5 losses and Memphis should be required to win their conference tournament to make the NCAA tournament. That's how bad the schedule is. Seriously, look at it... the addition of Tulane is why the Catholic schools wanted out of the Big East and Tulane is at the top of the standings in CUSA. If that doesn't say awful, I don't know what does.

You better hope you beat Tennessee and that Tennessee has a good season because it would be your only quality win. But please tell us more, you seem to think you know everything.

You 2 think Pastner is gonna "rip" through the C-USA schedule, that's fine. I'll go off his history that shows he averages 4 conference losses a year, and so far he's looking no better this year.

All I'm saying is, if UM loses which puts them at 4 losses, loses 4-5 conference games, and say loses to Xavier (very possible) you're looking at 21-10 or 22-9. That's hardly solid footing when you have NO good wins, and play in C-USA.

Argue it all you want, but that's the truth. Here's something interesting....Pastner went 23-9 in year one, had a RPI around 55 on selection Sunday, and didn't make the dance. Let that one sit in for a minute while you think about the scenario presented above.

Way to change the subject when proven wrong, solid work Margo.

BTO is exactly right. Memphis is really on thin ice win or lose to Tennessee. No quality wins a pathetic schedule in a pathetic conference. And they're dropping Tennessee. I said that was a terrible move by Memphis just because UT is at least a quality opponent year in and year out. It is proving very true. I said it in the preseason and I will say it now Memphis will be lucky to make the dance. And if you lose to Tennessee on Friday (which is possible) you may be out without winning the conference tourney. Pastner 0-11 against Top 25 teams in 4 years. Hell Zo has won 5 in a year and a half against Top 25 teams with a highly marginal roster with no shooters. Go Vols!

outside of a fans perspective, how is dropping UTk a terrible move by Memphis? The Tigers could easily schedule an equal or better team in UTk's place, and Memphis gains nothing by playing UTk.

they might schedule a better team, but it's not like they are going to beat them

0-forever against top 25, right?

not even remotely similar being that CCM has never lead a team to the NCAA tournament.

Kinda sad Pastner's best win in 3 years is against a depleted UT team with a first year coach lol.

I'll take losing to Memphis if it means it's your alls best win and we're going on to best multiple top 25 teams.
