Well you already have 3 losses so apparently math isn't your strong suit eh?

Your projected to lose to Tennessee which puts you at 4 losses, that's saying 5 in conference....you realize who your coach is right?

You just said that going 13-7 over our next twenty games would put us in the NIT.

outside of a fans perspective, how is dropping UTk a terrible move by Memphis? The Tigers could easily schedule an equal or better team in UTk's place, and Memphis gains nothing by playing UTk.

Just like OM, if UT decided to pull football they lose a lot. I went to both schools, and I don't like it. If I were UT I would be done playing football with Memphis for ending the basketball series.

Would be a bad business decision if they pull football. Too much football talent on this side of the state to not have a presence.

UTk has basically pulled the football series years ago....... Do you recall the last time Memphis played UT in football? The Vols owe Memphis one more football game which will more than likely end in a buyout.

I don't agree. I believe we only play 4 out of every 10 years as it is and probably only 1 of those is played in Memphis. There is talent in Memphis, and we need a presence there, but we have had better success in North Georgia. You use the leverage to end the football series to continue basketball. IMO

Good thing UT isn't anywhere near the top 25, right?

What's his record vs. Counzo again?

cool, you beat UT during their worst stretch since BuzzBall.

What's Pastner's record against Top 25 teams vs. CCM's record against Top 25? Who has more 4 and 5 star recruits? Who has highly ranked recruits in his backyard every year but still can't win anything of significance?

isn't it weird that kids in Memphis would rather play for Alabama or Ole Miss than the state's flagship school?

Yes I do, I was there 2 years ago in Dooley's first year. I don't know about the future schedules but I am pretty sure Lapides said recently that there is one again in the next couple of years because UM has a brutal OOC schedule in September.

Neither of these teams are top 25 teams, what's your point?

It's pretty simple... Location. You cannot argue that OM is a better environment than Knoxville. You are dumb if you try.

Alabama only gets the top offers anyway so your argument isn't valid.

I think it's more weird that Memphis kids don't go to their hometown school. Why can't Tiger High keep any of these kids home?

There isn't a team to play in north Georgia. I believe they are getting one game in Memphis every four years but that may not be the stated objective. One in 4 gives a W TN player one time in their region.

Bama signed a 3* out of Memphis but i guess your arguement is valid.

Memphis is a basketball school, being that UTk is a football school you would think they would have first pick in regards to state football recruits which is not the case.

Yes his name is Walker Jones the younger brother of Barrett and Harrison both currently on Bama's team. Not difficult to see why he got an offer.
