Libyas U.N. Diplomats Break With Qaddafi
Looks like they know that the end is near. All kinds of rumors floating around, now. I even saw a story about Qaddafi possibly being welcomed in Venezuela as an escape.
Angry and most likely deranged, Libyan dictator Maummar Gaddafi spoke quickly and enraged in a rambling speech that aired on Al Jazeera that lasted from the morning into the early afternoon.
For the first twenty five minutes, Gaddafi attempted to explain "how great he is." He spoke of conquests and history, rewriting it along the way.
Obama was quick to call for Mubarak to step down but I havn't heard a peep about Gadaffi.
Compared to Gadaffi Mubarak looks like a saint.
Maybe it's because Gadaffi is so close to some of Obama's best friends like Jeremiah Wright, Louis Farrakhan and Hugo Chavez.
Has anyone noticed that Obama always appears to be a friend to America's enemies and an enemy to America's friends??

When I called on Libyan Leader Muammar Gaddafi in his Bedouin tent last year, he was at pains to explain how he and President Bush were on the same wavelength. In all his years as a bad boy in the eyes of the West, he said, Libya was simply doing what Bush did when he invaded Iraq. "Bush is saying that America is fighting for the triumph of freedom," Gaddafi said between sips of tea. "When we were supporting liberation movements in the world, we were arguing that it was for the victory of freedom. We both agree. We were fighting for the cause of freedom."
Hmmmm... I'm not sure I would go down that road concerning Ghaddafi, gs.
