North Koreans are protesting now. I don't see that ending very well for the protesters. They're saying they want food and electricity.

I don't think the NK army will defect like Libya's did (the people killing civilians were reported to be hired mercenaries from different countries) because the soldiers are being fed by Kim Jong Il. Although, if there are enough angry people in NK something will be done. Once military personnel end up being ordered to kill their own families, the tides will turn.

Or it could be the quickest suppression of a protest in history. Especially since most of the early news being reported was quickly taken down from the internet.

There are reports saying that India, China, and Bolivia are experiencing pockets of protest, too.

Prince Abdullah of Saudi Arabia promised $1.4 trillion in stimulus to his citizens to curb protest. That comes down to about $55k/person or more per person if the money goes to adults only.

Beware of mob rule? I'm more weary of corporation rule. I have more money in my wallet than GE, ExxonMobile, Citibank, and BoA paid in income tax.

Might be the most offensive and xenophobic rant I've ever read.

There have been plenty of Christians and Jews who have worked toward the destabilization of civilized societies over the past two and six thousand years, respectively. Yet, I imagine that you don't group moderate Christians and moderate Jews with their extremist and radical counterparts, do you? What, then, do you believe is spurring your very enthused treatment of Islam?

All capitals are 3+ hours of driving and my car is in the middle of maintenance mode, I need all the money I can scrape up. Way to show my solidarity? I've sent plenty of emails to my representative and senators. Doing what I can.


100K people turned out in Madison. I'm pretty sure that should show Scott Walker that he should reconsider his stance on the issue. I'm pretty sure he just won WI for the Dems in 2012. Nothing like unintentionally energizing a base.

He ran on what he is doing right now. He got elected for it.

Will he ruffle feathers cutting stuff? Sure.
Does it have to be done? Unless bankruptcy is appealing, Yes.

I would imagine some of those screaming for budget reform and balancing are some of those protesting him right now. Its all cool til YOU are asked to take the cut.

Step foot in an actual Muslim country. Interact with and deal with Muslims on a daily basis. Then, come and talk to me.

Until then you are simply making gross and disconnected generalizations. If you had never been stepped foot America, yet were a student of history, you would come to the conclusion that everyone in the South is racist who condones the use of violence against persons of color, Jews, and Catholics.
