This will have very little effect on recruiting IMO. They will get another big name coach. We might get some recruits from the fallout from which ever other programs lose coaches due to this, not many from UF

The problem is that if they do not already have someone lined up and they whiff on Mullen, there is a decent chance their hire is a bit underwhelming.

Spread option is a blanket statement. Meyer has changed the framework 3-4 times as is. Teams bash and deride certain offenses when NFL teams incorporate half of the concepts.

They only beat us that year because they were able to bring in Tebow on the 3rd/4th and short plays. We had had some success stopping their regular run game but had no success whatsoever in stopping Tebow... A lot of their games were influenced by these types of situations that year

He had at least 2 critical, drive-saving plays in that game. I am not saying it's definite, but it sure looked like Tebow saved Florida's collective ass in that game.

It absolutely will. The team in florida is shifting again. Miami and Florida State are clearly on the rise. This doesn't necessarily mean UT will bring in more Florida talent, but the other two schools will be keeping it out of Gainesville.

He made some plays, but we still had a chance to win that game on the last drive, and Uf's defense kicked our ass.
