'20 MI OL Justin Rogers (Kroger Field, folks)

Trending to Kentucky. But some of you will keep making excuses for this staff. Things have been pretty damn bad lately in recruiting whether people want to admit it or not. And yes, I'm aware how far it is from signing day. But things surely aren't going very well.

Apparently this guy tells every staff what they want to hear. Every staff feels good about their chances. CBs to Ky including Wiltfong and Trieu says Ky is now the team to beat. Trieu/Wiltfong are the two I’d pay attention to in his recruitment, they know his area well.

You just want to lead on signing day in this recruitment.

If this kid picks UK over all the elite offers he has there's something fishy going on. He's a top 10 player in the country. Those guys don't pick Kentucky unless its basketball or...

We'll see who he signs with eventually but $20 says it won't be UK.

Allen Trieu and Wiltfong with CB's to UK
Hesitant to put this out there because I believe EVERY coach does it to some extent, but have you heard that Pruitt tried pressuring Rogers into committing before he left campus on his last visit? That’s where I heard the silent part from, maybe he just told Pruitt that to get him to stop?

Some guys you can do that, and some you can tell that if they don’t jump on board, others want in but doesn’t work with the high profile guys as much.

Again, just asking if you have heard the same??

Tight ship. If you “heard” it ‘twas not from them.

First time hearing that

Ok, figured you would have if it’s true. Ky does have a former teammate and was his first offer. Agree with you, highly doubt any Ky momentum holds. Has UT offered his teammate Maliq Carr, 4 star WR/TE? He is listed as TE but wants recruited as WR.

I don't know that Tennessee is the favorite but like I said earlier in this thread, he's going to like whoever he visits. UK is more of a threat than some want to believe but not ready to concede he's going there. It'll go to signing day

So you think Kentucky cheats in football but the big power teams don’t? Very naive imo.

KY just had a high first rounder and a couple others drafted. The NFL draft is huge for recruiting both positive and negative. We will have to show major improvement on the field this year to prove player development. We need huge years from Bituli, Darrell Taylor, Nigel Warrior, and our two sophomore corners,. On offense, Chaney will have to use scheme to help cover up deficiencies on our OL in order to showcase the talent we have at the skill positions. At least long enough to get the two freshmen tackles acclimated.

Nobody said the others didnt. But if he seriously chooses Kentucky over Tennessee, he deserves the 5-7 seasons and 0-3/0-4 record vs us that’ll be in his future.
Ky has a ceiling but they do deserve credit for what Stoops has done. Perennial 3-9 Ky teams seem to be a thing of the past under Stoops. They haven’t been 5-7 in 4 years, 3 straight winning seasons and some mo on the recruiting trail, will get a QB commit today. Wouldn’t surprise me if someone doesn’t hire Stoops away if he wins 8 this year.
