Not a troll. And I can assure you I'm a Vol fan. Everything in regards to Tennessee recruiting hasn't been positive lately. If you can't see that, I don't know what to tell you.
Stoops is leaving for FSU or another big school after this season and it’ll be back to losing seasonsKy has a ceiling but they do deserve credit for what Stoops has done. Perennial 3-9 Ky teams seem to be a thing of the past under Stoops. They haven’t been 5-7 in 4 years, 3 straight winning seasons and some mo on the recruiting trail, will get a QB commit today. Wouldn’t surprise me if someone doesn’t hire Stoops away if he wins 8 this year.

Things that make you go hmmmmm
It's amazing how this happens every year. This time last year UT had THREE commitments and none of them were a big time QB like Bailey. Our main targets haven't committed anywhere yet and just like last year a bunch of our signees will come from camp offers next month. But our coaches aren't earning their paychecks on May 6th, right GFW? hahahaimagine thinking recruiting matters on May 6th
And what will the people crying NOW be doing in your hypothetical doomsday scenario?I don't disagree. It's obviously still very early, but it's hard to like the way things are trending. They damn well better win AT LEAST 7 games. Or the same people in here making excuses will be crying when they sign mostly three stars and finish in the 15-20 range.
Pruitt has dealt with his share of High Profile recruits. I am sure he knows how to handle them....Hesitant to put this out there because I believe EVERY coach does it to some extent, but have you heard that Pruitt tried pressuring Rogers into committing before he left campus on his last visit? That’s where I heard the silent part from, maybe he just told Pruitt that to get him to stop?
Some guys you can do that, and some you can tell that if they don’t jump on board, others want in but doesn’t work with the high profile guys as much.
Again, just asking if you have heard the same??
And what will the people crying NOW be doing in your hypothetical doomsday scenario?
Now excuse me while I go and ponder which is more likely -
This staff can't recruit or some posters just love stirring things up
So they're doing "poorly" exactly like last year, except we have 1 of the best QBs in the nation, this year? We've clearly seen they can recruit. That was never the argument I was making. Outside of landing Harrison Bailey, they've done a poor job so far in 2020. They bring in Tee Martin, Chaney, and Ansley. Bringing in those guys set the narrative that Tennessee would recruit better. That has yet to be the case. Plenty of time to fix that. But as of today, there's plenty reasons to not be satisfied.
Dude it is May. Why don’t some of you relax a bit for the sky isn’t falling. And lots of visits coming up. Just because Jarrett plunked us no need for suicide. Have a great dayNot a troll. I'm just failing to see the problem.

IIRC we got Ramel and Wanya about this time last year. But I get your point.
For me it’s mostly this staff really likes a lot of in state guys. This staff is putting on the full court press for said in state guys. Any one of them could jump in and help peer recruit/build momentum. By all accounts they all really like UT. But all of them keep talking about how they’re gonna wait until months later and take a bunch of visits.
There was hope Rogers was in the boat and was gonna commit a visit or two ago. Now we’re behind Kentucky???
BJ Ojulari was gonna announce this month and we had a ton of momentum with him, and now he’s like naw I wanna take more visits.
Rakim felt like a vol but we saw how that turned out.
It’s just frustrating.
Big picture, I know it’s gonna be a-okay in the end. But I just feels like we have zero momentum right now.
I mean we got an elite recruiter at WR coach, and elite QB commit, and instant playing time. Feels like there should be receivers lining up to commit. Nope tho.....
I think the more appropriate term would be unreasonable, not criticalBecause I'm being critical, I'm a troll. Right... I made an account awhile back. Forgot my login information and continued browsing the forums from time to time. Was just recently able to recover my information and decided I would be more active and actually post. So I'm sorry to debunk your conspiracy theory.
