Miami vs Florida

I'm just saying man, there are some "unwritten rules" in football, and Meyer just broke the #1

And I just think you are dead wrong. I really do not see anything bad about kicking that field goal. Its not like we were throwing hail mary's 40 yards as time expired. I really don't think anyone gave a crap.

I would be stunned if any Miami player is giving that kick a second thought.

it's not just the FG that got me pissed, but throwing for a TD 2 plays before was more classless than the FG

Randy Shannon looked a bit peeved at that FG.

It wasn't that. I think he's a competitive guy and thought they had a fighting chance and lost and so he was ticked about the situation.

Put it this way: If he lets himself get bothered by something as minor as that then he's not going to last long in the coaching biz.

I don't think he was just mad about them losing. As a coach, you can take getting your behind kicked, but when a coach runs it up on you, it makes you 10 times as pissed

I'll just say this. I know if I was a voter, and it came down at the end of the year to an undefeated USC, and undefeated Mizzou, and an undefeated Florida, covering the spread against Miami would be the absolute first thing that came to my mind in deciding who got to go to the ship.

why would you look at covering the spread over an unranked team first? why not Georgia, Tennessee, or Florida State?

As an aside, I don't think anyone is going undefeated this year, at least not in the conferences that matter. And I don't think we'll see many undefeated national champions anymore either. Too much parity.

I know why you don't see a problem with it LG you bet on the spread didn't you??? Cause what goes around comes around karma is a %^% Urban and gators will get their's

if I was Randy Shannon, next time I play against Urban Meyer, I use the Les Miles coaching style of "let 'er rip"

Nice effort for 3 Qtrs. from the young Canes team..they'll be a team to watch in a yr or so...on to Tennessee week..should be a good game next week!
