ok i just finished watching the game. sorry, but that was (expletive) . congratulations urban, you just picked a fight with the very last program in CFB that you want to mess with. even if miami isn't good enough to run it up on you the next time you play, they will just cheap shot you all game. it won't be viewed as classless by hurricane fans (or seminole fans for that matter), in fact it will probably go down in miami lore.
maybe worst of all was the absolute ass kissing from herbstreit and musberger as the whole thing went on. ask yourself this, how would they have reacted if miami had run up the score on uf? it would have been "same old miami" and "randy shannon's better than this" and a bunch of scolding for the evil hurricanes. when uf does it, they just get more worship.
I don't see it either. Resembles a average football team just like the average coach thats coaching it.I keep hearing so much about the "talent" on this team, but I'm just not convinced. Sorry. I respect y'all's opinion and hope you are right, but talent is as talent does, regardless of what it is coached to do.
Something funny going on down in Gainesville. UF has too many cases of last minute scoring while already up big, just to cover the vegas point spread. Again last night. Too often to be a coincidence.
Urban never calls off the dogs. In a way i like it. But i don't like him. They wore on a young miami team. It went about like i expected. One things for sure. Miami's not too far from being a really good team again.
I think it's going to be harder for UF to try and go down to the Miami area and recruit kids they love their city and their U and urban just slapped them in the face
Good game LG, but I think we have a good shot of winning in Knoxville now. Miami hung tough for quite a while, the score not being indicative of the actual game IMO (of what I saw anyways).Yeah, those kids in Miami will decide to finally pull the trigger on going to Miami rather than Florida because Florida scored a field goal at the end of the game in 2008 and it was a slap in the face of Miamians.
Where is that roll eyes icon, please?

As to the other discussion we are having here, let me add this. In professional football, with their playoff system, winning is the only thing. In college football, with the beauty contest that sometimes develops to pick those top two teams, winning isn't the only thing. Winning by a good margin is the only thing.
Irony at it's best.Yeah, those kids in Miami will decide to finally pull the trigger on going to Miami rather than Florida because Florida scored a field goal at the end of the game in 2008 and it was a slap in the face of Miamians.
