Will UT go after Dyer?

I don't think they will from what I'm hearing.

if this was one of TOS this would be a thread killer..but hey this is Volnation we are still talking about Bell and Bellamy

Man I'm torn on this one....if you take him and he messes up again...egg on the face of our program IMO....if you take him and he becomes a star again...word would be we just took him for the talent....so I guess I'll just have to leave it up to CBJ...my guess would be "no"...been wrong before though....

SIAP.

This article makes a pretty good argument for why we should take the chance.

Vols Should Explore Adding Former Auburn Back Michael Dyer | Bleacher Report

Also, I think it could be a great PR move (as opposed to the fear of trouble) in addition to the on-the-field benefits.

This article talks about the direction he has taken by seeking his family's help and seems he's definitely got it right now:

Former Auburn star Michael Dyer ready to run again

All in all, I say go for it 100%!!!

If they don't goe get him, its just another huge blunder that this program has made. This kid is begging for his last chance, and I don't think that someone in that position would jepordize an oppertunity. I don't think Dyer would object to running behind one of the top two o-lines in the SEC. CBJ knows he needs to win, again really stupid move if they don't sit down and check him out.

IMHO Tennessee needs to go after Micheal Dyer, Tevin Lawson, and DJ Jones. That's a quality running back, and 2 quality DT. This is exactly what we need to finish this class. That would make this class a top 10 class in my opinion!!

I have no problem with second chances. We should check him out. IF he has grown up and realizes his past mistakes and those around him, that are upstanding, agree about this change, then we should give him a chance.

Everything I'm reading says a player transferring to a d1 school must sit out a year.

So even if we took him, he couldn't help us this season.

He's coming from Arkansas Baptist College (juco), so he could play this year just everybody else from juco.

I don't understand why this thread is still here, if Hubbs said it probably won't happen ..

Until he says it definitely wont happen I will hold out hope. But I do trust Hubbs over any others. He's one of the few I actually listen to.
