Michael Dyer - now Louisville bound (merged)

What's your opinion of the possibility that Dyer is a Vol?

Lol, I actually laugh a good bit. But Bobby was my fave Cobra Kai. He was the only one not a Dick, so yea that could be me actually.

I love when The Karate Kid helps us heal and brings everyone together

Hey - we graduated a punter with 4 alcohol-related arrests.

By that measure, Dyer has at least 2 strikes to go.

If you think Colquitt only got on trouble 4 times youre crazy. Kid was an animal and had at LEAST 5 DUIs. He was always in the doghouse because of it.

I too think if Dan Hood got a shot then this kid deserves a second chance too.

Daniel Hood was not the one who committed the crime. He was just a by stander. It is not fair to compare Hood to Dyer. However I do agree they both deserve a chance just before you compare these 2 at least read both reports.

Nobody compares to the raging alcoholic of Stephen Garcia

:blink:you are aware of what Hood was a bystander to, right?

My friends and I have argued about this topic for the past week and I still have yet to come to a conclusion

Are you saying the marijuana looking substance that was found in his position when he was arrested was actually not marijuana? Or it wasn't his?

And just what position was he in when this marijuana looking substance that was not marijuana (supposedly) was found?

And the State Trooper was fired after an internal investigation into his conduct.

Sounds like Dyers biggest sin's were (1) owning a gun (2) smoking synthetic marijuana (which was legal at the time) and (3) hanging out with the wrong people. I don't think he was ever convicted of any crime.

If Hood can be on our team why not Dyer?

I'm not against Dyer getting a chance at UT but why don't you leave Daniel out of this conversation.. Many on here acted like *******s when Daniel was signed... No need to do it again..

short leash=great running back...would take the heat as a fan if Dyer screws up again

This ^^^ Dyer has paid a heavy price and I'm sure by now he realizes that if he doesn't walk a line, coaches will not tolerate it and boot him. This will be his last chance to play major D-1 football and showcase for the NFL. I think if given the chance he will bust out just like Cam Newton and see a multi-million dollar payday.

Get em Butch!

If by heavy price you mean a speach by the police officer about gun and more than likely drug possession after he tried to turn the dash cam off and all he had to do was transfer, then yes he paid dearly. Because really who hasn't been pulled over in a car with a gun and drugs only to get a lecture after you've been linked to an armed home invasion

And you're aware he was in grade school?

sexual assault is sexual assault, no matter the age. i knew right from wrong in grade school. i would have also never stood by and watched that happen. Hood is not innocent. anyways, thats all i care to talk about it. its a pointless argument, and way off topic.
