Michael White (La Tech)

Tennessee’s search to replace Cuonzo Martin has now turned toward Louisiana Tech’s Mike White, a source told @CBSSports. Story coming ...

I'll consider that a bit better source than Dale "lovemysisterinabadway" from a bammer on twitter.

This is more relevant here because of the purpose I have...

How's this guy sound....

36 years old, has 5 years of head coaching experience, been at 2 mid majors, has an overall record of 105-50. That's an average record of 21-10 in his first 5 seasons, has 1 NCAAT appearance, and also won the NIT.

Sounds like a hot up and comer right?

Team next year with jrich, dt, Hubbs, Davis, Moore, Reese and the newcomers goes from hoping for nit to causing some problems for teams next year with White.

3 yrs experience coaching in minor conference with impressive W-L records but no NCAAT appearances - sounds like Cuonzo's resume coming in.

This isn't White btw, this is a last candidate....I'm posing this as a devils advocate standpoint on White.
