Yep, I'm pro choice, as in you have a choice to have sex or not. After 6 weeks and what you think is "tissue" growing inside of you is really a human with a heart beat, brain, hands and feet, you have two choices. Keep it or give it up for adoption

Thankfully, we live in a country where women have THREE options instead of two.

If you say so

I still haven't seen evidence that the Democratic party somehow accomodates more viewpoints than the Republican party - that was your contention. The way you described yourself fits many people that vote R just as it does those that vote D.

if that's fixing something, then I'll just throw a big pile of fecal matter on one of the pipes in my kitchen sink next time it starts leaking.

Thanks, Bob Vila.

Should probably use human variety. Eat protein powder before use as well. That's stuff will ensure a strong grip.

How long have you been waiting to use that lame shat?

I know the landscape has changed somewhat over the past 20 years. There is no doubt the mainstream is still center right to center left. I don't know if I could ever prove it, but I believe the Dems still accomodate more ideologies than the Republicans. For instance, there are tons and tons of Christians in the Democratic party. How many atheists are registered Republicans? I could have count the number of African Americans at the TP debate the other night on one hand. Don't see too many at the Republican convention either

How many conservative blacks are in the democrat party? Do you think someone like Allen West or Condi Rice would be welcomed with open arms? To the best of my knowledge, the GOP doesn't have an entrance exam, nor does it have a quota system.

Actually, the Libertarian party is more excluding. In order to become an actual LP member, you have to swear an oath that says you will never support military action where the US takes action first.

Didn't know that bit about the LP. That's interesting.

I have always thought that inclusiveness in a political party is a drawback. It becomes impossible for everyone's best interests to be supported or advanced. Too much compromise waters down your message and what you stand for. I believe we need more parties that are more exclusive and represent the people in them better. Biggest reason I don't belong to any party is that neither of the major parties represents even 40% of what I believe. The closest to me is the Libertarians at about 65%, but the things in that 35% are important things to me. Oh well.
