Pretty sure that punishment would only be from the B10 or maybe even Michigan itself. Basically doing something to show that they did "something" in case this gets any worse

Anybody ever seen an NCAA investigation that was uncovered and adjudicated in the span of two weeks? Me either.

$20 says Michigan gets the treatment we got in 2h vs Bama when they play Penn St and Ohio State. B10 worst nightmare would be Michigan winning and then everybody getting fired

I wouldn't discount Michigan going to say they fired Stalions for misuse of resources buying all those tickets to other games. Claiming he went rogue even though we all know no staffer is forking over that kind of cash. I doubt they admit they knew the intel he brought. If that were the case they will as you say will find it hard to deny that the rest of the staff didn't know.

I don’t disagree with you at all, but I do wonder if the optics of this one will be too much for them to gloss over. The video of him filming Michigan St from CMU’s sideline, wearing CMU gear, is really damning and right there for everybody to see.

The CFP Committee has already said they view all of this as a Big10/NCAA issue so they won't do a thing to stop UM from being in the playoff. And the Big10 is unlikely to keep UM out of the CFP because of how much money the conference would lose.

All the current internet rumors are a suspension for Harbaugh immediately followed by a lawsuit by UM against the Big10 to get a temporary restraining order to allow him to coach until everything gets settled in court which would be well after this season.

IMO if they do this and Know he's involved then if I am the NCAA I hit them for severe penalties including if in fact they win the National Title being stripped and a 5 year bowl ban

They are punting the decision so they don’t have to deal with. If Michigan gets into the playoffs, the media is going to have a field day. I don’t know if that changes anything but having a team that got busted for cheating, playing in your championship game is a bad bad look.

I’ve thought about that as well. If Michigan wins, the clamor is going to go into chaos mode and I’m here for it.

MORE SIGN STEALING - Other Big 10 schools FOS about "just learning" about it

Pat MCafee announced that other schools reportedly worked together to steal Michigan signs last season. Evidently Big 10 teams knew about Michigan's sign stealing system last season. Instead of reporting the activity, schools colluded to steal Michigan signs and share them between themselves. It is also being reported the (d-bag) Pat Forde had this information as early as last week, but he refused to report it in an effort to keep the heat on Michigan.

I think Michigan is throwing out BS to keep the heat down. They got caught red handed. There is no defense. Besides that they did this to SEC schools also. I also highly doubt everyone is doing it. I don't recall us using shields before this year. Maybe we did. However Beamers boys have not used wrist bands since last season and it worked pretty well for them against UT and Clemson. Why would you change something that obviously had such a major change in the way they played ? Something is smelling here

So what?

If they didn't use video recording or advance scouting it's not against the rules. And schools are allowed to share info.

It is not known if they did or didn't. Also, Pat Forde sitting on a story to harm UM is just another example of why his Vol hating a$$ is a class A d-bag. I'm not defending UM by any means, just pointing out hypocrisy.
