Agreed. There is no shot an Alpha coach takes the input of a grad assistant staffer and sees how accurate his calls are without finding out his secret.

That’s funny, considering this operation has been going on for at least the past three seasons and they would already have knowledge of their opponents’ signs from previously scouting them. Stalions was made to be the scapegoat by Michigan and they thought letting him go would be enough to get off without punishment. Would be really cool if there was a way Michigan could be voted out of the Big 10, the Power 5 schools disband from the NCAA, and Michigan gets left in the wilderness. It won’t happen but it would be hilarious if there was a way that university gets all it deserves.

I used to think Clawson was a pretty good coach but if he can't understand why Michigan cheating OSU and the rest of the Big 10 plus possibly other CFP ranked schools is a bigger deal than Wake Forrest getting shafted by other ACC schools maybe he isn't as sharp as I thought.

If in the end there is something of relevance in all of this, unlike Tennessee and other universities under investigation, Michigan has done nothing. On the contrary they have tried to shift blame to others and are trying to throw other Big Ten teams under the bus. An interesting strategy that could lead to a larger punishment than they would have gotten by (1) admitting it happened and (2) taking actions to resolve the issue.

They appear to be trying to deflect with the hope it will all go away.

They could end up out of a conference and any other conference would be crazy to take them. And they may end up out of football for awhile.

The Big Ten may need to cut ties to protect the integrity of that conference.
