Michigan Investigated for Sign Stealing

Let me know in 5 years when the NCAA is complete and Michigan gets a slap on the wrist.
The FBI will conclude they are guilty and the NCAA will drag their feet on punishment....LOL

If the FBI concludes they are guilty - some folks won't be concerned with the NCAA, they will be concerned with different penalties that will probably be much worse than what the NCAA could pass down.

I've been wondering all year what the firing of Harbaugh's assistant offensive coordinator over university computer use was about, how and why the substance of that was suppressed, and why the media immediately "forgot" it like it had never happened.
Well well well, doesn't this article look different eight months later. "Accessing other's accounts" and "not showing up" to a meeting to discuss the issue. Matt Weiss was fired for cause, and the story was dropped. This looks like smoke and mirrors to me. I wouldn't be surprised if knowledge of all of these shenanigans went above Harbaugh. Too bad they didn't scout TCU. LOL.

They was worried about Central Michigan??

Maybe he was on their sideline to get a better look at Michigan St's signals, who Central was playing in that game. Michigan doesn't play Central Michigan this year and as you said, I'm not sure why they'd waste time stealing their signals even if they did play them.

I think once a scheme like this starts it becomes standard operating procedure and the opponent doesn't matter..

Remember in December 2019, the Patriots were caught red-handed taping the Bengals pressbox. NE finished 12-4 that season and they were illegally taping a team who finished 2-14.

Jim Harbaugh contract extension could come ‘very soon’

The part about a possible extension isn't what's great about this article but the writer's theory that this whole spying accusation is coming from Ryan Day and OSU.

"It’s been clear from the start that this whole NCAA investigation, which got its start because of a private firm, had the objective of making Michigan football look bad. The goal is also pretty clear: force out Jim Harbaugh. If you’re Ryan Day and Ohio State, this makes sense. "
