I’ve seen this rumored to be Tennessee signals given to South Carolina to make sure Tennessee didn’t get into playoffs as one loss team….
Moreover, a source with direct knowledge indicated to FootballScoop that Michigan may have attempted to assist the opposition of a potential CFP opponent in an effort to disrupt that team's potential path to the Playoff.
I don't disagree in a scenario as you mention. There are those plays that everyone in the building knows what is coming and how does it play out? The example you give though is not the issue here. The problem is what a defensive coordinator does on normal plays that isn't certain what is coming, versus what he does when he knows what's coming. He might see pass play as a guess but with right information he knows its a run to right. Now he makes sure linebackers move that direction and more importantly brings the safety up with no intent on concern for second level of defense. He can come up in the collision zone and severely hamper the offenses chances.I gotta agree with Deion here. Heck, how many of us look at a wildcat formation or 4th and 1 under center and know what’s coming? You still gotta stop it. Of all the things out there regarding cheating and scandals in the NCAA, this feels really stupid. There’s no difference in this and just TV-Oing an opponent’s game and rewatching all weekend long to learn their formations. Harbaugh is a dbag, but this is something I just don’t get what the big deal is about.
This is how USCjr will justify firing Beamer for cause and not paying the buyout after they go 4-8.
why are you stanning for Michigan? It's not a principled objection: you are misrepresenting facts and completely ignoring that this may involve us directly. All the reports (if true) show this was so blatantly open that either Harbaugh is the dumbest person on planet earth if this is something that nobody does OR that this is common practice that Michigan didn’t care enough to hide it. And we know have multiple coaches going on record basically saying this isn’t a big deal.
He was so bad at one point that they cut his salary in half. And then all of a sudden, they have back to back big 10 titles and playoff appearances. If there was only some event, such as maybe hiring a specific person, or implementing a certain new division to their program that could explain the sudden change in their success…but since he claims none of that happened, he is overrated until he wins something. With the amount of money he has been paid since coming to UM, he is way overrated.
Probably already been pointed out but Clemson and Tennessee were both potential playoff teams that both would have been in Michigan’s way if they lost to OSU. Ironically I would bet before the matchup Michigan would’ve wanted TCU in over both of those programs.Beamerball got a nice raise & extension based solely on those 2 games.
Michigan should have steamrolled TCU but they turned the ball over too much.Probably already been pointed out but Clemson and Tennessee were both potential playoff teams that both would have been in Michigan’s way if they lost to OSU.
