This might be a guy Kiffin takes a commitment from just to get a better shot at Hall. He may be a silent that no one has caught on to.

I noticed NewVol. He made tackles on receivers, but they were still making catches in front of him. He looked to me to be better at run support that coverage.

If I remember correctly, his page said he had 4.4 speed. Monte will coach him up and make him better. Monte will make everyone better.

Damn, I thought it was a stretch for him to stray from Ohio State when it broke that he was interested in UT. This would be pretty impressive for Kiffin to pull off in his first year. Even if we don't get Hall, it's a start.

no way we get him without Monte and CLK. it would be great to get him out of OSU's back yard. One more reason to be excited about this staff!!!

we'll see what happens if he gets that OSU offer, I don't think it's grades. He's got upside and he's teammates with Marcus Hall and goes to one of the premier high school programs in the country.

Maybe they don't have room. They have four 4 star corners already committed with several more on the board. I didn't realize he wasn't offered but after a second look realize now he shows interest but no offer.

EVaVol, yes it is because of grades. Illinois, Ohio State, Michigan are all shying away from this kid because of his grades. It was at first thought that he was going to go to Cincy because of his grades, but after UT has expressed interest, he wants to play SEC ball. This is all reported on the Illinois boards.
