According to volquest his GPA is 3.2 so if there is a problem it must be his test score. He looks like a great tackler in run support. This is important for corners in Monte's defense. Hall and Edwards are visiting on different weekends so it must not be a package deal.

But I'm really slowing down this recruiting process, trying to analyze everything."

"Wow, that's showing me a lot of interest, especially when the head coach has called me two or three times. It's like, "Wow! This is really a blessing.' I really thank God; I've got a lot of stuff coming through, I'm very appreciative of that and I want to make sure I make the right decision."

Does Kiffin sleep? All of the guys on staff seem like they know how to make each recruit seem like the most important one of the class. I'll trade Fulmer's lax discipline-family aproach for Kiffin's tireless work ethic and drive to build the best staff possible any day of the week and twice on Gameday!

The state of Ohio is loaded for DB's this year and OSU got quite a few. The chances they offer are extremely slim.

OSU got 2 of the top 5 CBs in the 09 class...and Rex you're right a pipeline to that school would be great...I'm just not sure it would open up with just one recruit...but I'm all for it if it did.

Strange he talks about having an official scheduled for UT on the 23rd yet mentions scheduling something with Minnesota on the same date. Must be a mix up. Also has mentioned before that the Vols were in the lead. Don't know when this exchange took place in relation to that one.

'One of the top uncommitted prospects in Ohio, defensive back Michael Edwards (Cleveland/St. Ignatius), has long had a strong interest in Ohio State. However, the feeling hasn't always been mutual and it looks like Edwards will be heading elsewhere.
Edwards made an official visit to Cincinnati the weekend of Dec. 12. He plans to visit Michigan Jan. 16 and Tennessee Jan. 23.

"I'm not going to take a visit this weekend," Edwards said. "I wanted to, but a lot of schools aren't having visits this weekend. I talked to Minnesota (Tuesday night), but they said nobody will be there this weekend. I might take a visit there Jan. 23, but I don't think things will get that far.

"It looks like it will be Tennessee, Michigan or Cincinnati. I don't have a favorite. I've only visited Cincinnati."

As far as Ohio State goes, Edwards was hoping he would land a scholarship offer from the Buckeyes, but that hasn't happened.

"I probably won't end up being a Buckeye," Edwards said.'

So i get the feeling with the recent probable dismissal of Vinson this would be a quality commitment?

He and Hall are not a package deal. I think Hall goes elsewhere, but Edwards is pretty certainly a Vol.

He's still considering us, VG, we just aren't real high on his list. He is still visiting on the 30th unless he commits before then.
