Mike Gundy of Okie State

It's the same story. You and the other supporter were both talking about the roots of journalism and I was telling you about reality. I never changed that in the least. I said she was doing what journalists do, I still hold to that.

find me a reporter that writes that garbage for the NY Times or the Denver Post, or the LA Times, or Herald and Tribune. I dare you.

At least journalists sensationalize facts. She did not even do that. She made stuff up as she went along

But when a man takes an aggressive posture towards another man and yells it is different. I don't care what the NOW gang thinks. It just is different. What she did was wrong and was poor journalism. How he handled himself was just as poor and unprofesional and not very manly. Bowing up to a man is different than bowing up to a woman in my book.

I see what you are saying, however I'm under the firm belief that Gundy would have "bowed up" to a man, had he written that article.

And the times isn't slanted left....way left? I said that all papers editorialize based upon what they put in, leave out, or edit. You said they just print the facts.

Sorry, but he bows up to my woman and I'm kicking his ass (How big a boy is he?) ;but then again my woman has more class than she does and wouldn't be printing that crap in the name of "journalism" anyway.

I agree, but the problem with that is that there is no way a football coach can stand there and take on a female reporter without looking bad . . . If he's going to look bad, he might as well get his money's worth. :p

...yeah no matter what his coaching career ends up like, this is what he'll be remembered for...picking on a girl.

Having been around reporters all of my professional life, I can tell you there are some female reporters out there nobody wants to mess with....

He got away with it for a while. It was the Times that didn't check his sources or information. He fed them what they wanted to hear, and they ate it up.

he fed them what they thought was the truth, they found out he was lying, gave him some chances for retribution and canned his sorry a**.

He fed them a truth that they, as a left leaning newspaper, wanted to hear. They liked it, so they didn't bother to check it...human nature.

"My wife came down there to look at a Taurus, and you told her you would show her your Probe?" I am gonna open a 55 gallon drum of....
