I think the situation is the same as it always was. If we do good in the NCAA Tournament....lets say beat Duke, then he stays. otherwise he is probably going to be ousted

He's gone regardless.

The only thing I can think of is maybe Hammy knew all along he was gonna let him go at season's end and he just wanted to serve up some motivation for the team. The players now know any game is Pearl's last. Good idea, IMO

I don't call this motivation I call it one and done geez he could waited till were done

Hamilton said a lot today. Cant believe he did this 2 days before the tourney. Surely he's not that stupid.

Once Pearl is gone, then Hopson & Harris will be gone also. Next season will be a horrible season because of all of the players that are departing.

Yeah, there will be nothing but gloom and doom from here on out. If they were only here because of Pearl, then they need to leave as he let his players down as much as the program, perhaps even more so.

You think he is gone regardless of any result? what about if we make the final four?

So you ignore all the lies and deception just because he extends the season a week or two? It's to late for that. Hamiltion and the University obviously feel like they were slapped in the face by Pearl. He did all this to himself and it is time to move on.

We need to find an up and coming coach from a smaller school. Gauge his interest in U.T. & then fire Pearl.
Of course, when Pearl leaves, we will lose Harris & Hopson also. Fields, Goins, Harris, Williams, Pearl, Hopson, Bone will all be gone. Next season, we will have a new coach and a new team!!!!
Next season may look like this years Auburn team but with the right hire, in a few years, we will be back to being a respectible program again.

After a continual display of lack of integrity, we should get a new bb coach and because of not doing his job of keeping an eye on what bb program is doing, we should get a new ad! The downside is that bp is a capable coach but that doesn't matter if he cheats. Mh has made one good hire and so far he got an honest one in dd! Thank goodness! The bb program will be disrupted once again and it is sad for the young players who came to ut, excited and wanting to play for a good program. We will be back and hopefully it won't be too long! Incidentally, i was gungho for bp until the lack of honesty thing came to light.

I certainly am not talking from about my personal feelings, just what I expect to be those of the University.

I think they are going to do whatever is going to make them the most money, if they believe that is keeping CBP they will do it. The NCAA thought not suspending Newton was better for them financially so they did not do it, I think the university will see it the same way.
