Mike Hamilton tells Jimmy Hyams Pearl did not inform compliance about bump(merged)

MH should have kept his mouth shut until after the tourney. All he is doing is publicly positioning hisself to keep his job. Fire Pearl or keep Pearl now is not the time for an AD to be saying things like this.

this is a save my own azz quote from the most incompetent AD in the country. Damn I want him gone!!!!:banghead2:

MH should be fired the day pearl is gone or even before....UT basketball fixin to hit a rough part in the road & with Hammy makin the hire for a new coach expect it to be a bad one!...........

Ok I guess Hamilton makes horrible hires. He hired Fulmer who became one of the winningest coaches in history, along with a title. He hired Pearl who has done wonders with a bball team that has sucked for 20-30 years. Believe it or not, Kiffin was a good hire at the time. He brought momentum back to the program and had recruiting off the charts. He didn't know Kiffin would leave so soon, wasn't his fault. I think Hamilton may be lazy and whatnot, but he's made good hires in the past

MH did not hire CPF. Almost the other way around....

Fulmer hired Fulmer. He transcends the University and the Athletic Department.

Per Rucker, the coaches didn't report it because they didn't think it was a violation.

Maybe it's just me, but at that point in time with all that had happened I'm probably being overly cautious and leaning towards being too careful than not careful enough.

(That is of course unless I'm lying.)

They knew. I'm shocked and appalled that this staff would lie. Who could have ever imagined?

doesn't sound like they willingly reported anything

What baffles me is after all that Pearl has done to himself and this University, people still get mad at Mike Hamilton for commenting on something that sensible people have known was going to happen all along.

Please, they have earned our trust. I believe them, as you should. Like you've never lied.

He's also made bad hires in the past, such as Todd Raleigh who has done nothing.

At that point, BP should have reported anything that even remotely have been a violation. Just like the cookout. Dumb and Dumber!!! I was with him at the beginning, but he has continued to tighten the noose around his own neck. MH needs to fire him within 1 minute after the last game is over.

As someone who actually hopes to win the game on Friday, I have to say that I don't understand why he had to go on record with this now. The media stuff that the team has to do is going to be a circus now.

Hamilton's been sitting on this for at least a couple of months. The season's highly likely to be over this weekend anyway. Did he really have to come out with it right now?
