Yet to see Barnes accomplish a Final 4. Love the guy and what he’s done but he hasn’t taken us to the next level of banners to hang. SEC Championship is nice but we should be past that now.

Unfortunately, this is going to be the norm. Under the current system, every player has every reason to test their value on the open market and renegotiate for more money. The NCAA has been very clear, rules will have to be set by Congress because every individual state is fighting for their own advantages.

Is Heupel too stuck in the past, expecting new recruits to wait a year or two before getting meaningful playing time? Alabama played a 17 year old true freshman and he was really good. We also got burned pretty bad by a freshman Ohio State receiver. These highly ranked players are coming in expecting to play and aren’t going to wait around especially if they see the players that are getting playing time ahead of them aren’t exactly putting up great numbers.

The Alabama kid didnt really do as much as people think. He had a few good catches against UGA, then basically did nothing for most of the season. Couldn’t block downfield either. ESPN raved over him because of the UGA game.

He had more catches, yds, and Rec TDS than anyone on our team by a solid margin

Both #1 and #2 in the rankings. It wasn’t as though those players were number #25 and #47

The receiver at the bottom of the screen has the angle and leverage to absolutely toast that safety. That look is exactly what any video game QB is looking for. A medium strength deep ball would be impossible to turn and catch up to in that scenario. Period, case closed, give him 6

The player going deep wasn’t open until Nico scrambled btw, causing the DB to crash in. Every other route had a player sitting between him and the WR. Nico scrambled when he saw the middle open up. It wasn’t a good play, but you had to cherry pick something.

Btw the receive going deep was to continue to run a corner route and $8 million dollar qb should be able to put the ball where it needs to be. But then again. Your defenders run at explosive speeds according to you covering 10-15 yards in a second. Only thing explosive is the crap Coming out of your mouth.

MM should have played more, he has legitimate reasons to be frustrated. Squirrel is a good kid but hurt constantly. Nimrod playing was a joke, hands of stone.

Pope needs to go, zero WR development.

CJH needs to take the training wheels off the offense for Nico & demote the OC back to QB coach.
