Yeah, couldn't have anything to do with wars that aren't worth fighting, decades and decades of terrible foreign policy that has unnecessarily put our boys in harm's way, wasted trillions of dollars, and caused countless innocent casualties, and cases of PTSD. Part of me wanted to fight for the good guys when I was 18. We are so clearly not the good guys. Maybe the not so bad guys, or the least bad guys, but that doesn't inspire much.

Who calls white soldiers racist, exactly?
You had me entirely with that first paragraph. Very well said. That last question not so much, it’s pretty apparent what the Federal Gov thinks by the things they say and spend money on

I love when these F'sticks pretend to point at someone in the audience like they know them. Every one of them needs to have their private parts stuck in a grinder and live like the rest of us for one year.

You have your private parts stuck in a grinder?

He nailed it in the first minute but kept going. Our foreign policy is wrong wrt military.

The past 2 decades of idiotic decisions didn't help either

I would never want my kids to serve. Our enemies within our country have taught us that America is evil. Why fight for it

It would be a terrible idea.

Now if you wanted to talk about adopting the Starship Troopers model for earning citizenship I'm not opposed to that conversation.

“Im from Buenos Aires and I say **** EM!”

"Temporary incentives focused on recruiting such as lowering standards, waiving tattoo restrictions, amending previous disqualifying medical conditions, and offering marginally higher financial incentives will not be enough to guarantee an increase in dedicated volunteers or offset falling retention rates. Without dramatic changes to current leadership, the bleeding will continue."

Start by getting rid of Milley.

I bet it's been hard being a military recruiter right now. And especially the past year.

After a series of Woke commercials, and a struggle for the military to bring in a minimal number of new recruits during the Biden Administration it appears they have targeted March Madness and have gone back to traditional commercials.

It’s too late. Everyone is soft now. I learned from my kid that no one in their PE class was able to do a pull up. Kids aren’t getting the exercise they need anymore, and that’s going to continue on through their lives. We are set up for failure down the road.

Wow

The new US Army slogan is everywhere on my ride into the city this AM- I pass the Pentagon/Crystal City metro stops on the way to the office.

I guess they haven't figured out the badasses they're trying to recruit have no interest in fighting for the government. Because you don't fight for country in the military anymore- only the bureaucracy.
