Millions of Illegal Aliens From All Over The World Head For U.S. Border

Watch: Migrant Garbage Fills Texas Ranchlands near Border

EAGLE PASS, Texas — A Texas rancher provided video he took showing mounds of trash and discarded clothing left on his land from migrants traveling on foot. The video was taken as the rancher conducted a game survey. The rancher says the litter problem grows daily as migrants cross through his property to meet smugglers on a nearby highway.

The rancher says most of each day’s labor is spent repairing fences and water systems servicing animal life. Little time is left for typical operations and improvements. He says migrants often break water pipes connected to livestock tanks—exposing animal life to deadly dehydration. Damaged fences can result in cattle wandering onto the bordering highway and case vehicular accidents. In those cases, the ranch would be held liable.

More migrants illegally crossing the border from Mexico into Texas are finding themselves incarcerated under the state’s “Catch and Jail” plan. They are being arrested by the thousands under “Operation Lone Star” put in place by Governor Greg Abbott earlier this year.

As of October 14, Texas Department of Public Safety troopers arrested 7,744 migrants on criminal charges, according to the October 21 report from DPS officials. The arrests include 1,300 for criminal trespassing and 6,339 on felony charges.

Additionally, troopers apprehended a total of 73,031 migrants, including referrals to Border Patrol. Troopers also engaged in 822 vehicle pursuits.

“We’re not doing ‘catch & release’, we’re doing ‘catch & jail,'” Texas DPS Lt. Chris Olivarez told Fox News in September.

Clark: Don’t Get Distracted — Cartels Move More Than a Migrant Caravan Daily into U.S.

As attention is focused on a single caravan in Mexico consisting of an estimated 3,000 to 5,000 migrants headed to the U.S. southern border, cartels separately move the equivalent into the states each day.

The caravans capture significant media attention by design. They are politically organized and seek to use the clout to bring policy changes. The caravan in Chiapas hopes to force Mexico City to discontinue migrant containment efforts and allow unfettered travel to the United States–with the ultimate goal of softening enforcement protocols in the U.S.

Migrant Woman Delivers Baby Shortly After Crossing Border in Texas

Migrant-baby-delivery-640x480.jpg

Border Patrol agents in the Rio Grande Valley Sector helped deliver the baby of a migrant woman who had just crossed from Mexico. The delivery took place in a field along the Rio Grande near La Joya, Texas, last week.

With the assistance of a Texas Department of Public Safety trooper, a Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol agent trained in emergency medicine helped a young migrant woman deliver her baby. The rescue effort occurred after officials received a 911 call from a construction worker in the area reporting the woman in labor.

Because the child was born on U.S. soil, it is automatically considered to be an American citizen.

Border Patrol released 283,000 migrants into US over past year, 95,000 Untracked

More than 283,000 migrants who illegally crossed the border from Mexico this past year were let into the United States, despite the Biden administration’s claims that it was immediately turning away adults and families, the Washington Examiner has learned.

The extremely high number of releases at the southern border, based on unreleased Border Patrol data shared with the Washington Examiner by Rep. Henry Cuellar, means that one-in-six of the 1.66 million people who walked across between land ports of entry were let go directly by the Border Patrol between Oct. 1, 2020, and Sept. 30.

The releases in question are separate from instances in which hundreds of thousands of other migrants were also released into the U.S. by other government entities, including the Department of Health and Human Services Office of Refugee Resettlement and Department of Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Of the 283,000 releases, about 95,000 noncitizens were released with “Notices to Report” telling them to check in at the local ICE office once in the city they wish to live. It means that the government is effectively relying on them to hold themselves accountable for illegally entering the country. But there is no record of them in the court system to ensure that they do.

Members of a migrant caravan violently assaulted a Mexican federal police officer, beating him as he lay unconscious and then stripped him of his gear. The brutal incident happened as federal forces tried to stop the caravan from leaving Chiapas and moving north.

The clash took place this week along a highway in the southern part of Chiapas where hundreds of Central American migrants were trying to walk north. Mexico’s National Guard used riot gear as they tried to stop the caravan.

In a video, migrants can be seen beating and kicking a lone member of Mexico’s National Guard. The guardsman appears to be unconscious during the assault.

Death of 2-year-old boy ruled homicide after drugs found in system

The death of a toddler in a Lower East Side shelter back in June has been ruled a homicide after drugs were found in his system, authorities said early Wednesday.

Officers found 22-month-old Charles Rosa-Velloso just after 4 a.m. June 17, lying face-down in a bed and covered in vomit inside the Urban Family Center on the Lower East Side, cops said.

The medical examiner determined that he died of acute intoxication — and a combination of fentanyl, cocaine, and p-fluorofentanyl was discovered in his system, cops said.

EU Considering Border Wall After Several Member Countries Push to Stem Migrant Flow

The European Union (EU) said Wednesday that it will begin discussions on potentially funding a wall on its external borders, the Associated Press reported.

The decision was announced by European Council President Charles Michel during a visit to Warsaw, Poland. Michel told reporters that discussions on whether or not to finance "physical infrastructure at the borders" would happen in the coming days.

The announcement came shortly after Poland closed a significant border checkpoint due to the influx of migrants wanting to enter the country from Belarus. According to AP, hundreds of migrants have been camping across from the Polish village of Kuznica since Monday.

Poland and other nations in the EU have accused Belarus of encouraging migrants entering their country to instead attempt to cross into neighboring ones. Lithuania and Latvia have also experienced surges in migrants. Many speculate that Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko is attempting to create instability in retaliation for sanctions against his country.

Border Patrol encounters over 1,900 Migrants in Rio Grande Valley sector in just 24 hours with at least 250 'getaways' slipping through because there aren't enough agents

  • Rio Grande Valley Sector says it encountered 1,909 migrants in 24 hours Friday
  • This week, Border Patrol in the area caught four MS-13 members crossing
U.S. Border Patrol agents have encountered nearly 2,000 migrants crossing into the country illegally in the Rio Grande Valley Sector in just 24 hours, and are aware of hundreds more who slipped through without being taken into custody.

Agents in the sector, which extends inland 316 river miles from the Texas Gulf Coast, encountered 1,909 migrants on Friday, with another 262 detected on sensors but getting away because there's simple now enough manpower, a Department of Homeland Security source told Fox News.

The sector has seen a surge of illegal crossings, and this week agents there apprehended four MS-13 gang members and two migrants previously arrested on sex crime charges.
