Mimi Groves/UT revoked admission

The lesson that I learned is that today's youth are a bunch of pu$$ies.

Yep, and another I learned is that I may be politically incorrect because I'm sure as hell not going to use a hyphenated term with American - you're American or you aren't. If blacks are so enamored with Africa then they should really return to their roots, but I don't think with the attitude they'd be accepted. I really enjoyed Africa because you could talk with people there without feeling a sense of antagonism over skin color or that you were talking to someone looking for a reason to be offended.

You need to grow up and act like an adult. You’re just not capable of giving an intelligent adult response. Anytime someone replies to your posts, you have to come back with some childish and ignorant response. Like “ weak and boring, do better” or “who cares, we live in America” or “ what’s your excuse”. Do your parents know that you’re posting on a message board? Because I find it hard to believe your any older than 12 yrs old.
He’s not a day over 11

Consequences should be on par with the offense, and in this case, it wasn't even close. Not sure how anyone can look at the consequences and see them as just.

I agree that I don't think she should be cancelled, but we don't control that. People can and will judge her for her actions. That's why kids need to learn that everything they say and do should has consequences beyond their control.

I once brought a cap gun to school and was nearly expelled. I thought the punishment was stupid but my opinions didn't matter on that subject.

We do control that as a society when we remain silent and allow it to happen without speaking up. We may not change this situation, but maybe by voicing outrage over it, we prevent a similar one from happening in the future. Personally, I hope the vindictive young man faces some consequences of his own. He needs to learn a lesson that his behavior is not acceptable as well.

I dont think he did anything wrong. Freedom of the press. If you don't like your dirty laundry in the public eye, then don't hang it out to dry for others to see.

He's not the press. She didn't send him the message, nor was it intended for him. She apologized for her past behavior when she was 15. He was a vindictive dickhead. The girl did something dumb and expressed regret. The guy did something dumb and somehow thinks himself noble. The fact you find his behavior acceptable tells me you're part of the problem.

To be that vindictive and carry a grudge for the time necessary to use it, and willfully destroying someone else, yeah, he did wrong. The inability to forgive will not return forgiveness.

Everyone is the press in today's world. He is protected by the 1st amendment for his actions.
