I think it's likely a combination of both. I feel they are definitely hiding (or holding back) information, and they also appear to be incompetent.

I really hope that's what it is. Not suggestions anything sinister or conspiracy related, but does show some huge lapses of judgment in how they handle these sorts of things.

True. They did say they aren't telling the public everything the military has passed on to higher authorities. Doesn't mean they are hiding anything, just what they are releasing to the public is adding to the confusion.

But, here is a picture of Jonti Roos who claims the co-pilot invited her and her cute friend to sit in the cockpit a couple of years ago. (I believe she is the one in the red sweater).

The military and government are withholding information from each other. They're in a pissing contest. They're even withholding information for the families. They won't accept help in this disaster. I could go on & on. It isn't about pointing finger eithers

Complete tangent here, but it's always struck me as funny that airlines are one of the few large scale businesses left that requires their workers to wear a suit and tie to work. I mean, it's very professional looking and adds to the charm I suppose, but I would have figured it has to be uncomfortable.
