Missing Malaysia Airlines Jet

Alien IRA supporters JMO.

Like Mexican aliens or "Holy Crap you're got big eyes and no nose!" aliens?

Mexican IRA supporters? Someone mentioned a few pages back about that Mexican dude that floated across the Pacific. Could be related.

Good question, why not both? I'm sure actual aliens would want some drugs.

Do you think one pilot could go nuts and take the plane alone? Lock the other pilot out when he takes a leak or something. I have heard two transponders and ACARS were turned off at different times. Apparently you have to leave the flight deck to turn off all 3. Can one pilot leave the flight deck, turn everything off, and keep the doors locked?

I don't know about doing it all by yourself, but the Egypt Air flight that was brought down was done (supposedly) by one person.

Way different situation though.

Seems like too much involved for one person or two inexperienced persons to accomplish. Take the plane, fly it for nearly 8 hours, turn off two IFF and ACARS. Must be one or both pilots colluding with each other or others with experience onboard.

volmaverick has a point for once.

I think they searched the pilot's residence, so they've probably already done it.

That was my point as well. His assertion was/is valid. Some posters rather bash and poke at some.

Apparently they just searched it. A week in and they finally got around to searching?

Kind of like how it took them a week to figure out which direction to search for the plane.

I know. I want to hear his justification.

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (CNN) -- U.S. intelligence officials are leaning toward the theory that "those in the cockpit" -- the pilots of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 -- were responsible for the mysterious disappearance of the commercial jetliner, a U.S. official with direct knowledge of the latest thinking told CNN on Saturday.:hi:
