Missing Malaysia Airlines Jet

There was also a passenger on board that was a member of that Muslim group in western China that has been waging jihad. And he also undertook flight simulation training.

maybe I'm missing something here, but wearing a "democracy is dead" shirt could mean a lot of things

VM, you could wear one to California to protest the CA supreme court's overturning the state's gay marriage ban that was passed twice by a majority vote of the people

The same political angle and timeline being reported in main stream media.

You spelled speculated wrong. No one knows what happened, these yahoo's aren't reporting - they're guessing. It's all than can be done.

I propose we round up all the radicals in this forum who have said that America is dead/dying and ship them to a FEMA camp.

I don't get why someone would would steal a plane, fly it for 6-7 hours then ditch it in the ocean. I mean, the entire thesis is that whoever took it had to be experienced in flying the plane. So how would someone experienced then run out of gas in the middle of nowhere?

If it was stolen/hijacked it has to be on land somewhere. But if so why no word for 10 days ?

Because sometimes terrorists aren't smart and don't realize the fuel won't last forever:

Whoever in control wanted to prove how easy it would be to steal a plane and disappear. A lot of work went into trying to evade radar.

So I'm a little uninformed about Indonesia. I know they have al qaeda cells there. are they thinking that is why the plane may have landed there? Would Indonesia not have picked them up on radar? Would the be uncooperative?

I'm confused about the signals the engines sent the satellite. I read a few days ago that the signals didn't contain any data about the engine status--they were just indicating the engines were running, I guess.

That would explain how authorities reached the conclusion that the plane may have flown for X more hours. The engines were still sending signals.

But from what are they getting the alternative theories that the plane either flew into South Asia or turned south into the Indian Ocean?

How do they know this?

Also, today it was suggested the plane may have been on the ground the last hour. How do they know that from the signal?
