As Lee Corso would say, not so fast. They had everything go their way last year. Two years ago they were mediocre and they caught lightening in a bottle last year. We also play them at the end of the year, at home, when our top 5 recruiting class will be maturing. Yeah they're talented but they're not as good as everyone thinks. I think the game will be a toss up going in.

We have more talent and depth at every position besides QB and that may change by the end of the year. We will beat then by at least 14

Damn, for once I have to agree with you. The OP cites Mauk but negates the fact that MO has lost a ton of production - and replaced it with what?

I think we most certainly have more talent and depth by a large margin. They don't have the experience of Mizzou but I honestly don't think that matters as much as most people do in this day and age in college football. I have Mizzou chalked up as a win right now.

Mizzou got lucky enough to play everyone in the East with injuries or someone on the downward spiral. They played UGA the week after we decimated their offense, Florida the next week after they had played LSU, and A&M after LSU.

I think anytime you throw three future NFL wide receivers out there -- you are dangerous. We will be dangerous - and the qb play will be improved - but hate our schedule.

IMO we have more overall talent than Mizzou but where they have the advantage is that every player on their team was recruited for and have been in Pinkel's system the whole time.

I am hopeful and excited that we will have a better team this year than last. If the coaching blends with the teams talent and the players use the experience of each game to grow, by seasons end we should be a pretty good team. GO VOLS!!!

I think we will have a much faster team and that will at least put us in some games.,, Is it enough to improve our record from last year? IDK..,,and neither does anyone else at this point....
