Mitch Mustain...

Supposedly per WeAreSC forums Mitch has already graduated this May, thus allowing him to transfer to the SEC again. Again I can't confirm it but its interesting to say the least.

JB your post was so eloquent. Little tears are forming.
Dooley's pimp hand is strong.

I have to believe Slive would bend over backwards to smite Kiffin at every opportunity in any case. If Mustain wants to come to UT and UT wants him, I think it will happen. I'll happily take Mustain but I really want an Olinemen or two.

It's a paper in California. So I don't think it would be biased against USC or CA for that matter.

Modesto is a known area to be anti-SC. California is a big state with many schools. Its possible for that paper to be anti-SC.

I read this article last night and I didn't see anywhere it said Malik was going to try to get Mustain to transfer. We need to be fostering our future QB this season, not allowing someone to play their senior season.

It would nice if you would transfer here to possibly revive his career. I think with him and the OT Smith we could win anywhere from 7-9 games and Bray could then be redshirted.

Bray can redshirt and sit out a year to learn the offense and bulk up, work on technique, etc.

If Mustain does come he may see Simms transfer out to a I-AA school just like Stephens did for his Senior year.

a) it's the modesto press (nowhere near LA btw)

b) it's quoting a radio interview where i believe the kid said he wasn't sure if mustain was transfering

c) not sure why you'd want a guy who couldn't beat out a true freshman and a qb currently playing for the university of richmond.

Jackson is da bomb! Lovin' it! :dance2:

Bring 'em big man.

Former USC Trojans welcome in Knoxville!!!!!!

Adding Mustain would help with our depth at QB, but would it really make that much of a difference on the field. I can't remember how much this guy has actually played. I know he was a big recruit, but hasn't he bounced around a little too much for comfort (although leaving USC is entirely understandable).

All that being said, I hope that USC loses just about everybody. After Kiffin and Orgeron's phone calls to our early enrollment players and then taking our recruits after pledging that he wouldn't "actively recruit" those guys . . . HA! I know no one should have ever believed that Kiffin would actually live up to the spirit of that pledge, but the fact that he even said something just shows how much of a D-bag liar this guy is.

Oh, well. I guess Al Davis was right all along. Ironic, huh?

Because we have no one who has taken a meaningful snap in D-1?

i doubt it. mustain would only be a here a year. simms would be able to fight to start next year.

Regardless, I think Mustain would be a decent one year pickup and he is definitely better than Simms. Even though Bray is our QB of the future, I just don't know if I want to see him be thrown out to the wolves with an inexperienced offensive line. A true freshmen QB and an inexperienced offensive line is never a good combination.

Well seein as how Mustain won like 10 games as a freshman and then was benched by Nutt..... yes I would take someone with SEC experience and wins over a guy who played Juco and a Freshman

Most bizarre move ever. Bench your Super Recruit for something called a "Casey Dick". Granted, he did somewhat serviceable after Petrino came, but he was less of a passer than McFadden when that move happened.

Hey its me again ... but i don't think its about the sport as its about more about bad blood between the two schools. There's a lot of people that think of Dooley as calm well minded coach. Watch a couple of videos of his games and he reminds me a lot of a young Steve Spurrier. On top he might be quiet but underneath I think there is something noone is expecting.....and I think this might be is dark side showing through :)
