Not really the case. I have heard the feeling was he wasn’t as engaged during visit. He’s reserved, but they felt he was not likely in the end to land here. I still think OU. He’s flirted, but I think he wants to play for a defensive head coach. So we didn’t allocate enough resources into Nwaneri recruitment? If that’s true that’s pathetic. Franklin is a great player. But he isn’t Nwaneri.
Rather him go to ou than uga. You think we have a legit shot at Rushing? Not really the case. I have heard the feeling was he wasn’t as engaged during visit. At one point it looked like Tennessee and Oklahoma were battling at the top of Nwaneri’s list but now UGA and the Sooners appear to be in the best position.
-Wiltfong“Obviously they were National Champions, you see how many d-linemen they’re putting out, edge rushers they’re putting in the league,” Nwaneri has said of Georgia. “They’re just a powerhouse in football right now.”
He wants to play for a defensive coachI get UGA but wtf is OU selling that these kids are buying? Venables acts like a cracked out chipmunk, they sucked in the big 12 last yea, and they have a much lower chance at winning it all in the SEC. No one says "let's go vacation in Oklahoma!" I'll never get it
