'24 MO DL Williams Nwaneri (Mizzou commit)

He can manufacture WR production and exploit mismatches. That’s not really the same as manufacturing a WR. Him and this staff haven’t proved they could develop a WR capable of beating an NFL DB though. We saw with Georgia and South Carolina what can happen when our best WR is lined up against someone that isn’t a complete liability like Demarco Hellams was. I like Leacock as that guy eventually, but you’ve gotta have more than 1 on your roster
That must have been some other Cedric Tillman catching 10 passes for over 200 yds against UGA in '21. Oh! And, that must have been an illusion that I was watching whenever Velus Jones hung 6 catches for over 100 on South Carolina the same year. And!! I almost forgot, speaking of Cedric Tillman again...didn't he have 9 catches and 2 TDs against that vaunted SC defense this past year??

Also, before you go off clowning some more, saying some sh!t like, "That was 2021"...both UGA and South Carolina's defenses were much better in '21 than '22. So...

Can't believe he has only been playing football since his sophomore year. So many recruits get called "raw" because they only have a few years experience of playing football. This recruit was putting up insane numbers his second year of football. If you are big, strong, and fast it shouldn't take you a long time to learn to play football at the high school level.
Especially defense. So much of high school defense is see ball carrier, hit ball carrier.

This is patently false.

Cedric Tillman torched Georgia’s NFL DBs in 2021.
Alabama’s entire defensive backfield will play on the NFL, likely as Day 1 or 2 picks. Hyatt torched them.
Clemson has future NFL DBs. Tennessee torched them.

Tennessee plays in the SEC. They play future NFL DBs every week. If Tennessee didn’t have WRs who could beat NFL DBs, they’d have no passing game.

Right like what a silly comment to make

Season 3 of the Heupel era hasn't started yet,
but by the beginning of his 3rd season he will already have 3 Tennessee Vol WRs playing in the NFL.

You use these terms "SEC" Dbs and "NFL" Dbs, but then you never really talk about their skill set.
Were USC's CBs jamming Hyatt ? Were they hugging him toward the sideline and using their mad speed to run stride for stride in his back pocket??
You act like there's just one type of WR in the NFL. Why will Leacock be the only guy? Or did you forget Webb was also a 4 star at the end of recruitment?

Hyatt and Tillman have produced 200 yard games against the two most talented rosters in college football. Yet they're not NFL WRs???
Velus, Tillman, and Hyatt are all guys that are explosive in their own ways, but completely different.
