'24 MO DL Williams Nwaneri (Mizzou commit)

missouri is a **** hole, hope that helps
Lived here over 20 years in 3 different areas. Spent quite a bit of time around the state. STL is awful. The rest of the state isn't a ****hole.

Your statement would be like going to Copper Hill or Memphis and declaring the whole state of TN a ****hole.

Spent some quality time at Fort Leonardwood as well. I would like to submit it also for the ****hole part of the state.

There are definitely beautiful areas. Have canoed rivers in the southern part. Jack's Fork is very nice.

St. Louis, not so much. One plus however...largest GMC dealer in the country (Laura GMC), just over the line in Collinsville, IL. You can score *very* good prices on new vehicles there. Bought my last three trucks there.

I have spent time in and around K'ville. I have spent time in and around Columbia. Neither is any more of a "dump" than the other.
Knoxville can get pretty dumpy.

But, I never once experienced anything like Old City, UT, or area around river during my time in Collumbia, which, was limited.

NC has some great areas. Fayetteville is one of the worst places on the planet.

Most Army bases spoil the immediate area around them.

Pretty sure it's when they sign. Don't think their collective would be in the business of dishing out money with no "guarantee" of that player playing for their school. But it is Missouri lol.
It’s when they sign. They deals are year to year as well you effectively have one time you can become a free agent, and get an increase in NIL money, unless you graduate early, then you can try and get and get a 3rd NIL deal in there

Which is why I responded. You drew a blanket conclusion about the whole state of MO based on limited time in one town. Drive about an hour from CoMo and you're in the Lake of the Ozarks area. Drive another hour south of there and you wouldn't know that you weren't in the Cumberland plateau.

My bigger problem with Columbia is that the planning was and is horrible.

Also if you got to Columbia driving west from STL on I-70... you saw an unusually flat and boring part of the state.

I own a farm that we primarily use for deer hunting. It is rolling hills and pasture intermingled with row crop fields, streams, and brush. A couple of years ago I sat in my deer blind and watched snow fall and slowly cover the field I was hunting. Definitely not "****hole" type stuff.

If they turn this into a business, the university will sit the revenue sports up under their own business umbrella and the non rev sports under their own P&L and then title IX will not apply because they will each be a profit/loss business

The IRS Code has "Control group" rules that may be used to prevent that. If an entity has a percentage ownership of an organization, even a private one and it doesnt have to be a majority percentage, that organization may be required to comply with discrimination rules and regs that the parent (the university) is subject to. As Chuckie Schumer said about the intelligence agency "They have six ways to Sunday to get you" so does the IRS.

And they may have just fired the first shot....Texas A&M cuts NIL fund, ‘12th Man Plus,’ after IRS memo

Jokes are true......Aggies arent real smart.

I'm guessing you haven't been to Copperhill in quite a while. It has became a huge tourist town, with many breweries and restaurants there now. The transformation would probably shock you.

Yes. Been a while.

I've only been through a few times but I never found much appealing about western TN aesthetically if someone needs a substitute for Copper Hill.

😂 Kids are dumb. You can date Kate Upton or get paid a little more to date Rosie O’Donnell? Money sounds good until you have to wake in the morning with Rosie on your arm. Kid is signing up for a college career of mediocrity if he goes to Missouri.
If Rosie is kind and a good whuman, im good.

But, id bet Kate is motherly also.

All things being equal, Smokies have absolute stunning mountain scenery.

Imagine spending 3 years of your life living in CoMo. Cold, wet, ain’t **** to do anywhere. And the women are Big 12 hot and that ain’t a good thing.
Wrong... on every... single... account. I grew in the Smokies and have lived in MO for 22 years. The winters are a tad colder but drier for the most part. Spring comes a few days later. K'ville actually had frost and snow before north Missouri last year. The one difference I truly hate is the winter wind.

As a college town, there's a lot to do in COMO. Lake of the Ozarks is less than an hour away. STL and KC are 2 hours or less. As far as the women go... I'm too married to say anything more than you are 100% wrong.

FTR, the place I've lived with the greatest deficit of attractive women... was my home town and the towns around it.
