'24 MO DL Williams Nwaneri (Mizzou commit)

NC has some great areas. Fayetteville is one of the worst places on the planet.

Most Army bases spoil the immediate area around them.
Ever spent time in the Cherry Street area of Knoxville? Or maybe Lonsdale? Nothing about Fayetteville is worse. Have family that live in Dunn, outside Fayetteville, nice place

Dunn and “nice place” aren’t normally put together. Spent 7 years living about 15 minutes outside of Dunn.

Cherry Street area isn't that bad homie. I live in Parkridge.[/QUOTE]

Missouri defensive lineman Williams Nwaneri will decide from his top five. Missouri has a ton of buzz because of the NIL law that would allow him to get paid this fall as long as he chooses an instate school. They are by far and away the most risky pick of the five, but they offer something the others don’t at the moment and that’s the ability to get paid now.
Tennessee has been on the phone with him routinely this week and so we believe each school is continuing to push heading into the weekend. It certainly feels like Missouri at this point.

It doesn't go into effect when you commit, only when you sign.

Also, the law says the university administers NIL, so no need for a collective, and coaches can be directly involved. We'll see how that goes.
So, how does he get paid this fall if this doesn't go into effectvuntil he signs?

That’s what I was going to ask. So you commit in the summer, and you can get NIL money (not from the school) before you play your senior year which you might bomb or get injured. Would be hard to turn down especially if they’re paying a whole lot more.

But how do they make it so you have to sign with the school?

What are you gonna defend the shithole known as Arkansas next 🤣
Have you ever been to northwest Arkansas? I can't defend the whole state. I haven't been there much. But the that area looks A LOT like much of east TN.

Every state has its good points. Every state has nice areas and great people. If you really don't know that... then you need to travel and fix that ignorance.

I don’t think VQ knows what they’re talking about. The law says kids can get paid when they sign with in-state school as soon as they sign. Nwaneri could get paid starting in Dec, not this fall. Then again they could be using this “fall” as fall semester and counting the month of Dec. Arkansas and Texas have similar laws. The supposed advantage is that Mizzou can use NIL in recruiting (which everyone already does) as and inducement to attend their school as the school and coaches can be directly involved in negotiations and has language that says NCAA nor conference can punish them for it.

The law also makes donations to their fund tax deductible.

Thats the only good part, believe me.

"The only good part of Arkansas is the bridge to Tennessee."
