'24 MO WR Ryan Wingo (Texas commit)

The encouraging thing is that Heupel seems to develop coaches. That’s very sustainable.
Listening to Ellarbee discuss Abeln with Doug Matthews, I think another standout potentially slipped past our radar. I wasn’t enthused by that hire, but he’s getting good word of mouth from recruits and current players. I think he’s a future OL coach.

I think we could see that trend change this year with the WRs they have plus a new QB. Hopefully I’m wrong, but they have the best WR corps in the SEC in my opinion

Unfortunately I agree. The KNS has Ga 1 and TN 2 in returning WR's. Ga loaded up with 2 really good WR's in the transfer portal. No clue why a WR would go there. They have Ladd McConkey, the transfer from Mizzou Dominic Lovett ( who had 56 catches on that $hit offense) , RaRa Thomas ( Miss St Transfer that we wanted ) and Jacksaint. Their WR room is loaded, including Three 4* recruits in the 23 class. Just hope GA continues to underuse their WR's.

Somebody post the article Wiltfong posted this AM on 247 regarding his UGA visit

This was Wingo’s second time in Athens after a great visit in the spring.
“Being able to get in a system and compete while also getting pushed from every aspect,” Wingo said of what stands out about Georgia.
He got time with head coach Kirby Smart, receivers coach Bryan McClendon and several prospects on campus including Georgia quarterback commit Dylan Raiola.
“Highlights for sure, the setup,” Wingo said. “There were a lot of recruits up here so getting to meet everybody was pretty cool.”
Wingo was joined by his family as he considers Georgia alongside the likes of Tennessee, Michigan, Missouri, Texas, Texas A&M and Colorado among others.
“It just feels at home for him I think,” Wingo’s father Ronnie said. “This place is going to continue to win.”

You're the man thank you

WHAT lol??

Georgia??? shut up!

Ok. please explain that one. I know you mean pure talent and not production, and still it makes no sense what you said.

They have Ladd McConkey, who we all know, The transfer from Mizzou Dominic Lovett( 56 catches) and the transfer from Miss St RaRa Thomas ( 44 catches) . They both put up good numbers at much less talented schools. Plus Marcus Mary-Jacksaint. Without the 2 transfers, no but with the 2 they added they definitely have the best WR group. And hopefully they continue to misuse their WR's. Plus Brock Bowers at TE. That's a filthy receiving group and I hate it!

Yeah, just not sure he does much there this year. It seems to take guys awhile to learn their offense and block well enough to get on the field. Kirby will play his veterans who know the playbook and can block for Bowers and the running backs.

I'm not so sure about that. You don't bring in transfers with the talent Lovett and Thomas have just to sit on the bench. I hate it and hope they suck there but on paper GA has the #1 Group and TN #2.

Georgia insiders are saying they don’t have much confidence in Wingo following yesterday’s visit. Sounds like he is ours to lose!

Wingo and Mathews potentially, Dayummm! And that doesn't include the other 4* and 5* WR's we are in on! Just need to close the deal from here on out.

Those numbers are from them being the featured guy. Miss st threw the ball at nauseam (mike leach’s system). Uga is a run first ball control offense and Bowers is the featured guy in their passing system. I highly doubt Lovett or Thomas will replicate their numbers from their previous schools.

Didn't Ra Ra get arrested for Domestic Violence? Is that just going to go away like a fart in the wind?

I hope not. But Thomas wasn't a featured WR. He was 5th on the team in catches, 3rd WR in stats with 2 others guys close in stats right behind him. 2 of their 3 top Receiver's are RB's. Miss St had 9 guys with 30+ Catches. Mizzou had 3 guys with 45÷ catches. Lovett did have the most at but the other two had 45 and 44. I hate GA as much as anybody, but I also have no problem giving teams and players their props. I enjoy good football and watching good football players.

And all of this is predicated on their next qb being a competent and consistent college qb.

And I hope to hell they don't have one but not counting on it. Beck will probably play like a damn Heisman Candidate. But again, my response was they have the best TE and WR group ON Paper. That doesn't always equate to success on the field and I hope it doesn't.
