I'm glad that Napier was able to win just enough games to keep his job .... and I hope it stays that way.To the point, with me or you or anyon
Lagway may be good enough to overcome Napier. Sorta like Cam Newton overcame Chizik at Auburn and Joe Burrow overcame Ed Orgeron (although he had a helluva OC).
Before his hamstring took away some of his mobility and running, Lagway looked unbelievable in Napier’s offense. By the end of the season, he could barely even plant and throw normally on one leg. People forget or may not know in the first place, when you watch Lagway’s HS tape, his running ability flashed as more elite than his passing. He has some ridiculous highlight runs. Well we didn’t even get a glimpse of that this year with the hamstring injury. I expect his game to skyrocket when they can incorporate this aspect.
Tale of two rivals: Florida is surging into 2025, Tennessee is bleeding out
Florida is projecting strength, Tennessee is venting vulnerability. Welcome to a wild 2025 offseason.www.usatoday.com
I dare not post this in the FB forum. But it does feel like UF is building momentum whereas Tennessee is questioning itself to the point it will lose confidence and players.
Generally agree although it's one thing to lose and another to get totally out classed and embarrassed.would rather lose in the playoffs than win the buttlick bowl
It doesn’t surprise me that FL has improved its standing, as I stated at the beginning of the season that the Gators would be much better than many anticipate and will surprise many this season.Tale of two rivals: Florida is surging into 2025, Tennessee is bleeding out

UGA UT was a one score game til late. Anything but handily.
I like lagway but whatevers coming in new means nothing til they're in a game and we can see what they do. UT and UF recruit at about the same clip these days and if you're not top 3 its pretty much a crapshoot who turns out good and who busts.
We'll see next year
Merry Christmas ya filthy gator!
we had them by 10 too, whats your point?UF was up 10 on UGA before Lagway's injury.

I agree with pretty much everything you’re saying but if UF does somehow come into our game 7-3, then beats us and FSU they’ll be knocking on the playoff door at 9-3 just like Bama was this year, assuming that schedule ends up being as tough as it appears now.No, they didn't .... and they won't be competing for anything but a Music City Bowl bid.
They will be no better than 7-3 when they play Tennessee on November 22nd. 5-5 is a more likely record for them after 10 games. It's very possible that Tennessee has played their last game against a Billy Napier coached team. That kinda makes me sad. He is a terrible coach.
Fair but Billy won’t be turning into Spurrier.Florida’s quality and depth at WR is about as strong as I can ever remember:
2025 additions -
5 ️ D. Wilson
5 ️ V. Brown III
4 ️ N. Montgomery
4 ️ J. Michael Sturdivant
Current WR’s -
5 ️ Tre Wilson
4 ️ A. Mizell
4 ️ T. Hawkins
4 ️ TJ Abrams
Those guys, paired with Lagway, paired with Jadan Baugh at RB, paired with 4 of 5 OL returning and a 5th OL coming back who played a ton. That is some serious talent and experience being stacked.
Now that could change things. An elite running QB with his throwing ability would make Florida very difficult to stop. Any true dual threat QB is tough to stop but most aren’t good at both throwing and running.Lagway may be good enough to overcome Napier. Sorta like Cam Newton overcame Chizik at Auburn and Joe Burrow overcame Ed Orgeron (although he had a helluva OC).

You all benefited from some crappy schedules before so it’s your turn to have a tough one.It doesn’t surprise me that FL has improved its standing, as I stated at the beginning of the season that the Gators would be much better than many anticipate and will surprise many this season.
The problem for the Gators, like my Dawgs, is that we are both saddled once again with a ridiculously tough schedule. I’m a Dawg so I won’t be hypocritical and wish you guys well, but I will say that I hope that the SEC addresses this unfair scheduling issue after next season, and I will wish you a Happy New Year.
