Isn't this more a problem for the military operations than Obama, personally ?

Definitely not a problem for military operations. The problem is a planning and coordination problem between State and Defense (Intelligence, as well). Seeing as this is an interagency problem, and all of these agencies are within the Executive Branch, I think it is relevant to pin the problem on the part of the Executive that is supposed to bridge those gaps: the National Security Council. Thus, this goes straight to the White House.

Sufficient measures for interagency planning and coordination, sans the NSC, were obviously not in place (which is a Chief Executive problem); and, the NSC itself did not adequately deal with the reports from Intel and State in order to ensure that Defense was ready to act.

do you believe a US consulate is under attack and the Pres isn't advised?

he was advised. WH today was waffling on exactly when they "saw" the emails that were sent to them.

I'm certainly not suggesting he made the call on sending help or not.

I would like to know the role in the larger status of alert and guidelines about force in general and requests for more support leading up to and during the attack.

The deaths themselves are not a big deal, **** happens. It is the "apparent" cover up that has people mind. The cover up is always worse than the crime itself.

cover up and dismissal. I still think given what we know now (and what he knew) the trip to Las Vegas was in very bad form.

Award all Americans that disobeyed orders on the ground the highest medal possible.

I like a political cartoon but that one GS is in poor taste IMHO.

You must admit it encapuslates the whole scenario very well.

And too, it was in response to a post attempting to exonerate Obama of any responsibility.

That was in poor tase to say the least, actually it was moronically, ignorantly retarded.

Read the interview with the father of one of the Navy Seals that was killed. He met with the Messiah and said his apology was more of a whining cry and his handshake was like a dead fish. I think that describes Obama to a T.

Woods said Obama wouldn't look him in the eye but gazed over his shoulder the whole time he was stammering out his lame condolences.

That wasn't near as bad as Biden's idiotic remark.

These guys fought to their death to try and save the others and for what? For the CIC to blame the attack on a YouTube video and try to sweep it all under the rug? Pitiful

#StandDown: Twitterers slam Obama administration for denying help to CIA operators in Benghazi | Twitchy

The Twitterverse is still reeling from this morning’s bombshell report about CIA officers in Benghazi being told to stand down after requesting help during last month’s deadly attacks. While the lapdog media is trying its hardest to bury this story, truth-seeking Twitterers are doing their part to keep it at the forefront of people’s minds. They launched the #standdown hashtag and are wielding it like a truncheon to pound the Obama Administration and its shameful defenders:

Not very many people, even Obama supporters, are buying his shuck and jive story about Benghazi.

Some questions that need answers:

1. Why was CIF moved to Sigonella, two days prior to the event?
2. Why was an American painting a target if help was denied?
3. Why were two military surveillance drones redirected to Benghazi if no threat was indicated?
4. What happened to the two warehouses?
5. Why weren't the two Carriers in the AOR even in a 'ready stance' when Carriers are always in a 'ready stance' when on deployment?

Mostly but indirectly it is his situation.

It's definitely a problem though and he's stone walled and soft pedaled the whole thing. That's where there could be some blow back for him.

There are so many more things to attack Obama in. I don't wan to call this trivial, as what happend over there was clearly a tragedy. But this is just taking focus away from real, long term issues.

The fact that Hillary promised one of the deceased's father "the man who made this video will be arrested," is so shameless that it's disgusting. Can you not avoid peddling your lies to the grieving?

What do you expect from him?

He has shown his malice for this country and the military before

Nobody respects the man

also quite shameful that the press is sheltering maobama from this by not calling attention to it.

wonder what the press would be doing if this was W and the election was looming?
