Despite previous reports, I can confirm that Jeremy Pruitt has been let go & has been banned from the UGA athletic department.

Who gives a dawg’s tail about UGA and their petty personnel problems? As long as Nick’s staying, Tide's rolling. Playoffs, baby!!! #WereIn #4 855-242-PAUL

Man I hope they have a poor showing this weekend, this will get even more entertaining.

Especially defensive...big portion of their commits and prospectives list Pruitt as a reason. Relationships are huge! No matter who would replace him, that's hard to overcome.

Isn't Pruitt recruiting Hardman as a CB? We just might steal Hardman and Derrick Brown if UGA blows up.

Richt just tweeted that Pruitt is still the DC, in the office preparing for UK.

What do you expect Richt to say? "I've lost control of this program and my staff and we got in a fight the other night at my house. But other than that, we're good. Go Dawgs!"

Haha I agree. Mods made me take it down! :(

Never really understood why. It was a cat, with it's tail sticking between its legs. If people were offended by it, it's because they have filthy minds........lol, because it was a cat.....with it's tail between its legs.

IMO...Your posts are much worse than your avi ever was. :p

Not a top 10?!! Are you kidding? Gosh there are so many reasons to call it a top 5 job. Beautiful campus (imo) - check. Power 5 conference - check. Virtually no competition from other in state schools - check. Recruiting hot bed in your own backyard - check. Not many schools can say all of that!

Yet the pups haven't done jack in the past 35 years.

It's all about coaching. They've made bad (remember Donnan and Goff?) to average (see Richt, Mark) hires the last few times they've had a head-coaching vacancy. A solid coach could win multiple NCs there. Coaching is the only missing piece. That's why I, for one, am hoping Richt can somehow survive all this mess.

Actually, it's all about culture. Georgia hires coaches like Richt because it wants to be successful using more genteel methods than the rest of the SEC.

Some of its admin (AD) wants to push harder to win above all else and brought in the Pruitt and the Bama yahoos to 'do what it takes'. They, and their style, rub the President and some of the boosters the wrong way and there is now a full on culture war breaking out. Fascinating to see how they are going to sort it out.
